A Quick Summary of Penis Enlargement Techniques
Thunder’s Place is very confusing, particularly when you visit the first time. I thought I’d write a short orientation to summarize who we are, what doesn’t work, and what does. Sound interesting?
Who We Are
Thunder’s Place was founded 15+ years ago to be a forum for people to talk about penis enlargement - both what does not work and what does. Thunder’s is run by volunteers and the bills are paid by donations. Our budget is under $150 a month at the present time, and pays for the server hosting costs. Nobody makes a dime. We have opinions, but at least we don’t make money off of you.
We don’t sell anything. We don’t accept advertising. We don’t track you. We make every effort to protect your privacy. If you join, you’ll be able to post questions of your own, and use our search feature to find answers to your questions. The mods and admins (people like me) hang around to solve problems and make sure that people are respectful and support each other.
What Does Not Work
If you search for “penis enlargement” or a variation of that on the Web, one of the first things you will see is a place that sells pills or lotions. They do not work. None of them do. I haven’t tried them all, of course. But someone here has.
You might find someone proposing surgery of one sort or another. That’s dangerous, expensive, and the results can be temporary. Save your money.
What Works
Your penis size is limited by 3 things: the suspensory ligament (attaches the penis to the pubic bone), the tunica albugenia (tough outside layer of your penis), and septum (tough cord-like thing you can feel on the top of your penis when you get an erection).
Suspensory Ligament Drawing
Septum and Tunica Albugenia Drawing
Stretching the suspensory ligament and the septum give you length gains. Stretching the tunica albugenia gives you girth gains. It is that simple.
There are 5 main ways to stretch these tissues in your penis:
- manual exercises
- penis extenders
- vacuum pumping
- hanging with weights or tension
- clamping
With patience, dedication, and good technique, most people gain at least an inch in length and/or 1/2” to 1” in girth. Some people gain more than two inches in length, or more than 1” in girth. But it takes patience, dedication, and good technique.
Manual exercises don’t cost anything. If you want to use lubrication, vegetable oil is perfectly acceptable. We recommend you start here. We have videos to show how to do the exercises properly (click FAQ at the top of the page).
Penis extenders can be very cheap (under $30) or very expensive (over $500). If you want to try this, I think you should buy a cheap one first and see if you like it before spending a lot of money.
Many people swear by vacuum pumping, hanging, or clamping. We consider them to be advanced techniques. You should only try these after a few months of manual exercises to condition your penis so you can do them without injury. Be very gentle at first. Go slow, checking for injuries like blisters or worse.
A few suggestions…
If you decide to give penis enlargement a try, I have a few suggestions. Join Thunders! Read how to take accurate measurements. Take a few “before pictures” for your own personal record. Keep a journal. Keep a record of how big you are, what techniques you use. And use heat! Warming up before your routine makes everything easier to stretch.
And a final caution…
Many people here discover, over time, that their ruler shrinks. The damn ruler gets smaller. It used to say your penis was 6” erect. Now it is saying 6.5”. Or 7”. Or more. Don’t worry. A shrinking ruler is a good thing. :)
Live long and prosper.
