Abdominal exercises hindering PE

Hi guys ,

I have been doing PE for about 2 months now.I have seen some slight increases.
However some weeks back I started doing some serious ab exercises.
I am not overweight , just have some fat around my stomach. The ab exercises were supposed to blast those
Extra inches. But instead I have realised that my penis size is slightly smaller now.
Do you guys think this could be something to do with the ab exercises tightening up my abs and surrounding muscles ?
Sure I would love a 6 pack ab but not at the expense of a shortened penis.
I would be glad to hear your take on ab exercises.

The best way to lose stubborn belly fat is not ab exercises but cardio like Jogging. I run 2-3 times a week for 30-40 mins and that really made the difference. I had strong abs but I couldn’t really see them until I complemented doing abdominal exercises with a lot of jogging. I am however perplexed by the fact that you found that Ab exercises made you lose your gains!

Hey coldgarb,

Blasting your abs will actually push your belly fat out more by increasing your abdominal muscle size (via swelling or growth). The only way to reduce belly fat, is to adjust your diet and do enough exercise to reduce your overall bodyfat until it’s gone.

I don’t think abdominal exercises will reduce your actual penis size.

Go for HIIT.

It could be that having a tighter abs your skin over your fat pad is tighter aswell and there for you mesuare less BP (the ruller can go less deep), is it less NBP aswell?

Yeah I play Ice Hockey so I need to do a lot running but it’s worth it my girlfriend loves the six pack ;)

When I measure I only touched the ruler slightly to the skin at the base of the penis.

After the ab exercises my waist size is sort of reduced but I can still pinch and feel the fat around my belly .
The only reason I can think of my belly and waist size decreasing is that the ab muscles have tightened up.
So could this have also tightened up the muscles that connect to the penis which is making it smaller?

This could seem a strange question, but, what kind of abs do you have? I mean: I have very thick abs, pretty different than most of guys. Training abs make them more thicker; abs are under the skin, so, I guess, they push the skin ahead hindering outer penis. Are you measuring BP?

I am thinking of dropping the abs routines and focusing more on cardio.

I am sorry , maybe I should have been more detailed on the initial post.
When I started PE I did the measurement by keeping the ruler on top of my penis , just touching the skin.
I didnt push the ruler inside , so I assume this is called NBEL.
At that time the measurement was 12.5 cm
After a period of doing PE I could measure upto almost 13 cm , an increase of 0.5 cm
However when I started the ab exercises , my stomach slightly reduced and felt tighter.Along with that I noticed that I don’t measure 13 cm anymore. It has slightly reduced by a few mm.
Since I have not changed anything else in my daily routines the only thing I can blame is the ab exercises.

My concern was that continuing with the ab exercising are going to make the muscles so tight that the ligaments won’t get stretched when doing PE. This is what I wanted to clarify with you experts.
Whether continuing with the ab exercising will hinder my gains in the long run.

So from your responses so far I can assume that the culprit is not the ab exercise but possibly elsewhere.
However just to be sure I will drop the exercises for now , because a bigger penis is more important than 6 pack abs for a small sized guy like me

Maybe it´s another factor, maybe you overworked you penis or maybe when you measured 13, you measured a little bit wrong and thats why now you get a little fewer mm, I tell you this because i work my abs a lot , I am proud to say I have a six pack and I haven´t notice a shrinkage in my penis. Actually one of the advices if you start PE, is to work out more, work your abs, cardio, etc. Mantain a good health.

I can’t see how training abs could make suspensory ligs tighter. My hypothesis could stand exactly assuming that you only measured NBPEL. However, I can see it sounds strange, and really it’s just a guess, because many factors could cause a slight reduction in EL. My main suggestion was: take measure BPEL, because it is a more reliable track. :)

One question , because how to calculate BPEL is not very clear . Do I have to push the ruler deep into my skin till it stops and can’t go in any further?
