About to begin PE but unsure if I will be safe

Hello everyone, I’ve been reading a lot of posts/forums relating PE for the past few weeks. It seems like a glorious journey, and I would love to start doing it. However I have my concerns. I’ve come across the occasional horror story where a poor guy ends up with ED due to things such a venous leaks. Generally these guys seem to do something wrong like over training, Jelqing at 100% erection level and avoiding warning signs. Although I have seen posts where they haven’t done any of things and still ending up with a busted unit. I have a good sex life at the moment (sex 2-3 times a day) and my girlfriend often says how much she loves my unit. I’m only 6” EL and 4.9” EG, so I don’t exactly enjoy the size of him and I’m sure she would like if I was a bit bigger (she has slept with WAAAY bigger guys than me, but very firmly states I’m the best, not sure if I believe it or not). I decided to tell her about Jelqing last night, and she was said it would be kinda cool to see if it worked and to just do it for a few months. Then I told her the slight chance that it could damage him and possibly put him out of action for 1+ months, she did not like the sound of that. She is a sex fiend and going more than one day is hard for her.

I was reading about mild venous leaks, and think that this could be something I already possibly have, as I find it very easy to get erections but then they subside very quickly without stimulation. As in during sex when we change positions sometimes I’ll already be losing my erection if it takes too long. IF this is something I could possibly have would it be wise to avoid Jelqing and other PE exercises. Is it worth risking my sex life to gain size if my girlfriend is already satisfied. I just can’t decide whether it is going to be safe enough for me to begin PEing.

Let me know what you guys think.

Hi Bailey98!

Honestly we are not the ones to ask. We know about PE and can help you but we aren’t the ones to ask that question. Let me explain.

Think about it. All of us have taken the plunge. We all already felt the risk was worth the reward so naturally we all will tell you it’s safe. Because, regardless of what injuries some of us (myself included) have had…we came back to get more size or EQ or whatever we were working on. And for almost all of the regular posters here, it’s gone well enough we keep doing it.

It’s a personal choice and it does carry risk. Period. Full stop. None of us can assure you that you’ll be safe but generally with common sense you will be. It is as simple as that.

This is your decision. You weigh the options. I think it’s a good choice but I’m biased and so are all the frequent posters of this forum on principle in regards to that question in particular.

Then: 6.25" x 4.37" in 8/2009 Are you new to PE? Here's some advice I wish someone had given me when I first started.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

So even if I undergo the beginner routine and be very careful, I assume there is still a risk for serious injury involved?

The outlier, rare cases of injury can occur from the Newbie Routine. Fact is not me nor anyone else can assure your safety.

Injury happens. Serious injury is uncommon. Permanent injury even rarer still. But all can happen.

If you took up a fitness regiment, you would put yourself at serous risk for injury. Getting fit is strenuous and often can increase injury risks.

Same idea applies here. Regardless how rare it happens, it still can happen. I will not say otherwise. You have to weigh the options for your personal comfort. Then decide on your own.

I think I’ll talk to my girlfriend more about it and go from there.

As for the possible mild venous leak, do you think Jelqing etc could make it worse? (If I even have it, it’s quite possible I don’t)

No. Typically PE makes erections stronger and longer lasting. Outlier cases would disagree, of course.

Additionally, I have done a lot more than jelq and aside from the times I did things I knew I shouldn’t have…never got hurt. PE works and is worth the risk. But nothing I say, or anyone says, removes that risk.

Hey Bailey,

Welcome to Thunders :)

I would like to add to Thoughtfulgold great advice.

I’m guessing the 98 refers to your birth date… which makes you on the younger side of the scale.

Firstly, I doubt very much you have venous leak, unless you have had a serious injury to your penis that we don’t know of.

Of the couple of years I’ve been a member here at Thunders, I have yet to read of a confirm case of Venous leak, and there are some guys here who are tugging on their units pretty hard. Most the guys that think they have it, are young guys who have panic attacks, and think there penis is going to fall off because they had a bad EQ day, or a bit of a twinge from an exercise. Usually, it’s all in their mind, and when you think your penis is going to fall off, it’s naturally difficult to maintain an erection.

I’m guessing your perceived problem is due to the amount of sex (high five by the way :D ) you are having… 2 to 3 times a day… yeah that’s going to affect your EQ, I’d be having problems, that’s for sure.

I think if your already worried about venous leak, etc… you need sort that out first before starting PE, because PE is not going to sort out those thoughts bouncing around in your head…. it will only make you fret more.

Secondly, if your going to have sex 2 to 3 times a week, and do PE, you might find that you start beating a dead dog… in other words, if you ran 2 to 3 marathons a day, then went to the gym after, you’d probably not do your body any good, probably not put any mass on, and be on the way to injury. So if you decide to do PE, I suggest you take it real easy to start with (the Linear Routine is a good place to start), and try and do your workouts with plenty of time between sex sessions.

Good luck :)

Hey Bailey98, glad to see you are doing research prior to taking the plunge, it will bring you some piece of mind if you do embark on the quest. Obviously I can’t say that any of these routines are 100% safe, especially because I have really only done the linear routine, but I haven’t seen any ill effects so far and actually have an awesome EQ level solely from the linear routine, I’m gradually getting ready for the newbie routine next month and feel my unit has taken the proper steps to sustain the amount of trauma of a good PE routine. I am doubtful I gained anything from this routine except awesome EQ, but I definitely feel prepared now especially after learning the proper way to jelq(which is always improving). Good luck on your journey regardless of PE or not.

May the gains be with you

Thanks for the reply mate! How would I go about actually making sure I do not have a venous leak? Just to be certain and clear the thoughts from my head.

I might actually do what you have been doing and start with the linear routine to progress into the newbie routine. Cheers mate!

Re venous leak. Before you start worrying about tests like dopplers etc, get your testosterone checked and start doing some real man exercise, short hard sprints and lifting heavy weights.

See how your boner responds.

Somethign interesting I should have mentioned about venous leaks, is that there are case studies showing complete reversal of an ultrasound/Doppler confirmed venous leak with administration of TRT.

So it’s not a 100% mechanical issue as previously thought.

Let me know what you guys think.

The dialogue that you are having with you girlfriend is great! Personally I think that your size is extremely versatile, good for oral, vaginal and anal. I am basically similar to you in dimension, wife and I have sex every day, going on 15 years now.

I completely appreciate your apprehension here. My wife would look at me like a deer in headlights in the event that I could not make love to her.

When I strap on my extender I often feel that one day my unit will give out and it will all end. Lol, very dramatic, I know.

You are wise to take caution and proceed carefully. I have been practicing PE since 2015 and have yet to suffer an injury; however, even with a light and careful routine, injury for some might be very real and in some circumstances, permanent, we are all just that different. So it’s difficult for any of us to say, “you will be fine, no worries.” I am data guy and PE has very little statistical validation, one day this might change. However; random injuries from extreme practice in any endeavor does show that some will not have a positive reaction.

For me PE is a way of life and the gains come incrementally regardless of intensity. I assume slow growth and my routine is careful. Like you, I tread cautiously as performance is expected daily.

You have a girlfriend that loves your cock and wants to have sex. So in regards to PE take it slow feel your way through it. Best part of life is that we are what we are. Just from your original post, I bet you get that, your girlfriend probably sees that confidence in you and is now exploring it, so let it rip.

Explore with your partner if they have a fetish for something more significant and if they do, then go dildo shopping and enjoy!

Best of luck and as others have said, you are wise to put so much thought into your approach.
