As a newbie, I remember wanting IT ALL....

….and trying DAMN HARD to get it. I remember injuring my dick with clamping only a month after I started. I remember wearing a wrap at night. I remember jelqing so fucking hard that the head of my dick looked like a red water balloon stretched to the point of popping. I remember rigging up my own “hanging” device using golf swing weights and a 5 pound plate from my weight set (think I was about 7 weeks into my PE career for that one).

And then, I remember, at about week 8, looking down at my dick and thinking- “shit, it’s looking a little dark between the circumcision scar and the head! I wonder what that is?

I also remember when my raging hard erections subsided, leaving slightly sloppier ones in their place.

I was happy with my newbie .25” length and girth gains, but hanging above this happiness was a dark, dark cloud of doubt.

Sure, I had proven to myself that this PE thing works, but now it looked like my dick would be stained, battered and functionless by the time I got it worked out to anywhere close to the 8x6 I’m shooting for.

I read threads about rehabilitating your dick, burning off stained spots with wart removers (chemical peel), and focused a lot of my attention on some of the depressing “hard gainer” stories. In this way, PE started looking like a fucking minefield. In this way, a few months in, I quit my routine for almost a year, and lost all of my gains.

During this time I would look down at my dick and see an almost daily decrease in flaccid. Fucking depressing.

Then, a friend of mine started insisting that she had met someone who (she said) I would find most interesting. This friend of mine knows that I’m allowed to do as I please in my relationship with my chica and that my chica is bisexual, so I immediately thought that she might be onto something. Also, I “got a feeling” when she started talking about this girl.

I started PE’ing again immediately.

The first thing I noticed is that all of my discoloration had gone away. The second thing I noticed is that my dick caught it’s former .25” length and girth increases within a week. I also noticed that the newbie routine (just stretching and jelqing) really felt good when you tried to “tune in” to your body- something which I remember vets talking about all of the time and which I frankly IGNORED when I got into PE in the first place. I also noticed that MANUAL STRETCHING was a whole PE world unto itself. Previously I had thought that stretching was pretty much a way to get the unit prepared for what I saw as the real exercise-i.e. jelqing.

In this way, only one month later, and just in time for my first meeting with the mystery chica, I had reclaimed all of my previous gains and had added some more on top of it. I was elated. Then, two weeks after our first date, so was my new chica. This was back in November.

I have been steady PE’ing ever since and with this new burst of PE energy am just getting ready to enter the +1” gainer club. 7” bone pressed~! I can hardly believe it! Yet, there it is. I’ve seen it on the ruler a couple times, but I’m not going to report it in my stats until I see it on three consecutive measuring days.

So, what is my point?

My point is this: LISTEN TO THE VETERAN VOICES OF MODERATION.

My new PE routine is totally different to the kind of spastic shit I did as a newbie. And the shit I did as a newbie eventually led me to believe that you could not do PE without destroying your dick or winding up with a dick that would frankly look better on a person of a different ethnicity than yourself (providing you’re not black). My spastic newbie PE made me feel that with every step I took towards a bigger dick I was also taking a step towards a more ugly or even a damaged dick.

I now have come to understand the Veteran Voices of Moderation. Shit, I even feel like this whole process has added to my maturity as a man. For perhaps the first time in my life I am firmly encamped on the moderate side of an issue and can now see how MODERATE ADVANCE over LARGER TRACTS OF TIME can lead to GREATER AND MORE SUSTAINABLE PROGRESS than HERKY JERKY SPAZ OUT.

I have also come to turn my PE into a real life-building thing, a craft even.

I’ve gotten my inch since November by being VERY consistent, by always applying a ton of heat and by being very present during my workouts. I’ve even taken a one week and also a two week decon break during this time- just because my dick was feeling a little “un-recovered” for a few days in a row.

Clamping, for me, is now totally out of the picture. Hey, if you’ve got a Rambo dick and it works for you, then go for it. Me, I’m prone to discoloration and clamping always leaves me feeling injured and injured means no PE which means no growth- so no more clamping for me.

I have also totally changed the way I do everything. I now TAKE THE NECESSARY TIME to do my workout, do it in the shower, and REALLY LISTEN TO MY BODY. In short, I’m paying a hell of a lot of attention to the go-slow, mental side of the game.

The results are that I now really feel as though I am “coaxing” the growth out of my dick instead of bulldogging my dick- something which left my dick feeling hard and retracted before. My flaccids are now HUGE compared to before, my erections are pussy busting, and my rate of growth has shot waaaay up.

Also, interestingly, I don’t get discoloration anymore. This is something I attribute to a number of things. First, I don’t clamp at all or jelq at ridiculous tensions anymore. Second, I REALLY warmup now. I get the whole pubic region from asshole to belly button very, very warm. Third, I do a comprehensive warmDOWN now too. And fourth, after all workouts I now give myself a pubic region massage using an equal parts mixture of virgin coconut oil and flax oil.

I have also started to pump in order to get some more girth, but guess what- I’m taking the Veteran Pumpers Voices of Moderation and I’m paying more attention to listening to my body than I am to GETTING IMMEDIATE RESULTS.

Newbies, I know there’s a lot of information out there, a lot of stuff about “plastic deformation” and “extreme” workouts and people who make seemingly incredible gains from these routines, but, from my personal experience, the PE game is really better fought with patience, perseverance, and an attitude that says that you ENJOY this process.

If you really start to take pride in your workouts and enjoy them, then you can be assured that you will do them for a long time, and time, I now see, is the MOST IMPORTANT part of a successful PE routine.

I am now totally convinced that I can get to my goal, a changed and better man. PE has really taught me a lot- a lot about myself, and a lot about how to accomplish things through finesse and not just bulldogging them- and for that, I am eternally grateful.

Listen to the Veteran Voices of Reason men, I sure wish I had- I’d probably be closing in on 7.5” by now if I had!!!!

Right on JetAtkins! I’m glad you got something from it. My whole outlook on PE is so much less desperate now. No more dark cloud of doubt. Two years down the road I see myself grinning like a Cheshire cat. Hope you’ll be there too!

ThunderSS: Thanks man. Although, this is actually kind of a lazy first try at what I really want to do which is to consolidate all of the helpful Veteran Voices of Moderation threads which I’ve found useful in forming my new approach into a single, linked thread.

Unfortunately, I’ve been very bad at “favoriting” my favorite threads so it’s going to take a little work to get them all together.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

Yes… I am making some good girth gains with a 2 day on, 1 day off routine, that includes two sets of 8-10 minute clamps, and O-bends and jelqs, alternating days. Less does actually do more for me.


Going for 6 inches of girth, wish me luck.

Thanks for the link Lampwick. This is exactly what I’m talking about. Not only that, Walter says that he’s gained that 2” in 5 years even though he’s TAKEN YEARS OFF. I’ve asked him just how many actual years of light jelqing he’s done. When he replies I’ll paste his answer in here. Seems to be another example of how time spent SAFELY PE’ing is perhaps the overall biggest indicator of potential gains.
