One of my pet peeves:

Your = Used as a modifier before a noun: your boots; your accomplishments
You’re = Contraction of you are.

Oh, and not that anyone on this thread specifically says this, but I’ve noticed a correlation. People who don’t even make an attempt at trying spell properly generally say “acrosst” when they mean “across”

You guys talking about this makes me nervous I’m going to mess up and get banned lol. I failed English 3 times.

I don’t think you have to be perfect, you just have to make sense. Spell check is handy for me.

Beside being good for non-English speaking natives, I like the forum guidelines because I think it leads to deeper discussion.

Hard to talk about real issues in chat speech.

My problem is the effort, not the intelligence. I will misspell from time to time, but language (written, verbal and physical) is too much of a beautiful thing to waste. (In fact, I misspelled the word “misspell” before I spell checked)

Attitude is what gets guys banned, not spelling.

Damn thunder! You should have played with your food a little more instead of killing it right off the bat! I would have loved to see this guy dig a huge ass hole for himself. It makes for an interesting thread I think. Yeah, I know you guys have to do what you do, but it would still have been funny!

Wow, this thread went to hell in a hen basket awfully quick. :) I like the strict rules here. It did start out pretty interesting though, the thread that is. :)
