Been going 2 months with no gains.

Hello I have been around the site a while but have only recently been able to register. I have been PEing for about 2 months now but unfortunately have not seen any results. I began by following the newbie routine for the first month 2 days on, one off and when I saw no results doubled the stretching (30 second holds at S, SE, E etc all the way round twice) and made sure I was jelqing for ten minutes. I always warm up and warm down. I am beginning to become disheartened and thought I would post in hope of hearing some words of wisdom to help get me back in the game!

Thanks a lot!

It took me a bit longer before I saw my first gain (beginning of the 3rd month).

Don’t do the 2 on 1 off. Aim for 5 days of jelq-type exercises, with 2 days off (i.e. Mon-Fri). Stretch those days as well, however you may want to stretch every day if possible. Two months of PE is fine to begin a routine like this.

That Big Gainer post thread is excellent. Lot of food for thought in there.

Currently 6.5 NBP 5.5EG.

Have you been looking at your (PIs). I would read that thread very carefully, if you havent already.
If your (PIs) are bad and your not seeing any gains, It’s usually a sign that you are overdoing it.
So doubleing your effort isn’t going to help. Double effort doesnt mean double results. it doesn’t work that way.

As for the actual routine. I’d gradually add more time, I wouldn’t just double the stretching all of a sudden.
Experiment take your time, no one is rushing you. Your goal as a newbie is to find out what works for you,
the newbie routine is just a guide it is not set in stone. Everybody is different, what works for one doesn’t work
for another.

Once you find a routine that gives you really good (PIs) stick to that exact routine until the good (PIs) start to fade.
Then and only then adjust your routine. Dont get greedy, do what works not what you think will work better.

Find the routine that works for you (exercise, intensity, time) and gradually add to it when the good (PIs) fade.
Once your start getting consistant streaks of good (PIs) your gains will come, I’m sure of it.

Good luck.

Well said.

Thanks a lot all. I have been watching my PIs but probably not as carefully as I should be. I have not done a workout in about a week so I think I will restart with the basics and work from there. Take it a bit easier.

Thanks again!

PIs?

I’m not very good with the lingo and terminology, but most of them allow me to mouse-over the word and it shows up with what it means. This one doesn’t for me, and it’s kind of hard to understand the posts here if I don’t know what that means.

If I remember rightly it stands for physical indicator. There is positive and negative PI’s that can help inform you if you are doing too much or too little in your workouts. This thread has more in depth info.

Physiologic Indicators (PIs) to help growth!

Hope it helps

Alright. Thanks Jarfield for the link to Sparks thread, it answered what I needed to know and now I’ll pay attention to them.

Hey,

I am on PE for 2 and a half months now.and no results by now. I think we need a couple of more months to get some results. I noticed that if I measure my unit, I don’t measure always the same length. So even if I gain 2-3 mm, maybe I don’t see the gains. But if my unit is growing, lets say 1,5mm every month, so in 6 months I would have a 9mm longer dick and that is measurable!

So just go on!
Good luck

Ciao

Two months is a very short time.

At this point you are just barely learning how your body responds to the exercises. You’re also learning about how to take reliable measurements.

Concentrate on doing things properly. Focus on assessing and perfecting your technique and worry less about gaining. Gains can take time.

Before: I'd like to show you something I'm very proud of, but you'll have to move real close.

After: I\'d like to show you something I\'m very proud of, but you guys in the front row will have to stand back.

I think a lot of good advice was already given—but there’s something else you could consider.

You could change your approach and start using devices. For example: ADS or Hanging if you’re looking for length.

Thanks everyone, I have changed to the routine in the big gainer thread posted byWt282 and things are seeming a lot better already, even after only a couple of days I have noticed an increase in flaccid length and fullness and stronger morning wood. I think before I may have been overworking but this seems good. I know what I have seen is only temporary but I never had this after my previous workout.
