Beginner Routine Question

Hello, in regards to to the newbie routine, and jelqing in general, are dry jelqs or wet jelqs more effective? I am uncircumcised so I have the excess skin necessary to dry jelq without stretching my skin too much. Is one safer than the other? Has anyone had any success focusing on just one or the other? Help is much appreciated.

Good question! Some people prefer wet jelqs, others prefer dry ones. Listen to your body, try both, and see which one seems to work the best for you.

At the end of your routine, your penis should be a little sore. Overnight, you should have a better erection. You may find that you get that reaction better with one method or another.

Live long and prosper.

Thanks. On every PE attempt (for consistency) I have ever undergone it has been wet jelqs I have done. I might as well try dry jelqs to see if it yields me a better result.

I personally prefer wet jelqs. I tend to get better expansion and a fuller flaccid throughout the day.

Started 11/2014 6" BPEL x 4" MEG (Ballpark #'s)

As of 01/2017 7 1/2" BPEL x 4 7/8" MEG

18 Month Comparison Pic

I think I read somewhere that wet jelqs are a bit safer. As a newbie (only done 1 session) safety is my #1 priority.

03/2018: BPEL 5", MEG 4.4375". 05/2020: BPEL 6.1875", MEG 4.4375".

11/2020: BPEL 6.4375", MEG 4.5".

Short term goal: BPEL 6.5", MEG 4.75". Long term goal: BPEL 7", MEG 5".
