Breaks and Gains
Hey guys,
I have a few questions regarding breaks and gains. Basically I’ve been doing PE for pretty much a year with no real success until I came over sparkyx `s “EQ Quality promotes growth” thread. He suggested to basically stop with PE for a while and then come back to it and start slowly. I did so and after two weeks of break I had morning wood like crazy as well as rock hard erections. I then started to do J123`s linear newbie routine and started seeing some real gains increasing from 5 min of manual stretches and 5 minutes of jelqing to 15 min of manual stretches as well as 12 minutes of jelqing ( 5,9 inches to 6,4 NBEL // 6,8 BPEL to 7,3 in Length which is what I am focusing on since my EG is 5.4 inches) in a matter of less than two months accompanied with amazing EQ.
Problem was that I think I overtrained a bit at some point and the morning wood was gone as well as the gains in a matter of a week. I took a break for about a week and started again at 50 percent the workload but the gains havent returned yet ( back to 5,9 in NBEL / 6.8 BPEL still after a month) , which is why I’m trying to do a 2 week reset and get back to the point where I was.
My question is : After having to take a break for a week or longer how quickly should one get back to doing the original workload in order to not overtrain ? Also when I notice my EQ dropping does it mean I should always stop PE until EQ is great again ?
