Hey guys,

I have a few questions regarding breaks and gains. Basically I’ve been doing PE for pretty much a year with no real success until I came over sparkyx `s “EQ Quality promotes growth” thread. He suggested to basically stop with PE for a while and then come back to it and start slowly. I did so and after two weeks of break I had morning wood like crazy as well as rock hard erections. I then started to do J123`s linear newbie routine and started seeing some real gains increasing from 5 min of manual stretches and 5 minutes of jelqing to 15 min of manual stretches as well as 12 minutes of jelqing ( 5,9 inches to 6,4 NBEL // 6,8 BPEL to 7,3 in Length which is what I am focusing on since my EG is 5.4 inches) in a matter of less than two months accompanied with amazing EQ.

Problem was that I think I overtrained a bit at some point and the morning wood was gone as well as the gains in a matter of a week. I took a break for about a week and started again at 50 percent the workload but the gains havent returned yet ( back to 5,9 in NBEL / 6.8 BPEL still after a month) , which is why I’m trying to do a 2 week reset and get back to the point where I was.

My question is : After having to take a break for a week or longer how quickly should one get back to doing the original workload in order to not overtrain ? Also when I notice my EQ dropping does it mean I should always stop PE until EQ is great again ?
If you have any other feedback or suggestions for me I’d be happy to hear them :)

That’s a bit hard question. So far, I think there are two forms of PE training. One way is to deliver more blood to penis, another one is to stretch tissue. What if you improve only in one? Good stretching gives bigger size, but same amount of blood won’t fill it completely. So you probably will notice EQ drop and speaking honestly some people really have such situation. And if you keep same size, but deliver more blood then you have better EQ. Thus I think if you see no gains, but great EQ, then you can add a bit of stress/intensity. And otherwise drop in EQ might say about excess stress. What is optimal, I don’t know. But I suppose to keep high EQ is good idea and you can either try to lower intensity or to take longer recovery periods. For example, you can do 5/2 or 2/1, or maybe you make 36 hours between sessions and then take longer break later. There are many ways.


Starting : 7.6 BPEL, 5.5 MEG

Current: 8.1 BPEL, 5.7 MEG

I suppose you are right about the argument that if you are growing that one`s EQ will drop since there needs to be more blood flowing into the penis. But as I didn’t have a growth development in a month I guess I`ll take the rest week to try to get back to the point where I was.

When my EQ has improved I’ll get back into my routine and start more slowly and see where it brings me. It seems that in my case some things are different in the respect that “less is more” and that I might be a rare case where there only is a small workload necessary to encourage my growth vastly ,
Or at least I haven`t seen somebody with similar problems - especially regarding the aspect that I didnt recover like others.
