Hi guys,

I recently started a manual/basic stretching routine again after a break of a couple of years. I’ve started nice and gentle, combining up/down/out/side stretches with holds of 10 or so seconds each, so really nothing drastic, just gradually increasing the hold position by a tiny amount each session, and with a day rest in between, so total stretch sessions are 3 to 4 times a week. After a couple of weeks of doing this, last week I noticed that the most sensitive part on the frenulum seems to have ‘shifted’ down from the glans by almost 1cm. I’m circumcised, and have always known exactly where the most sensitive spot is. Well I can honestly say it’s no longer in exactly the same spot and has remained in its new place for the past couple of weeks.

I haven’t done any further stretching or an PE since, wanted to see if anyone else has had any such experience or if I’m just going mad. Need to add that sensitivity itself hasn’t been affected, but it has left me a bit freaked out.

However, I don’t think I’ve noticed this happening. I mean maybe it could but…I’m wagering you have a special situation on your hands. If the sensitivity isn’t affected, I wouldn’t worry too much. But…it’s just my perspective. I’m sorry I can’t offer more.

Like you I have noticed a big increase in how sensitive the area is about 1cm lower but… because I have had some gains i just contributed this to ‘I am now deeper and hitting areas I never hit before.’

So not sure if it is the most sensitive or anything actually moved but I do kinda like the new sensation personally.

You may be going crazy as it sounds like from your post you’re paranoid even doing manual stretches man.

But, if it really did move who cares? Probably occurred because of growth. Maybe your EQ increased and your penis stretched out completely for the first time and now the spots slightly further back. As long as you don’t have a 10” penis and the sensitive part isn’t on the base I don’t see why it would even matter. I’d simply take it as a physiological indicator that your routine must be doing something.

Guys thanks for the feedback! I was getting into a nice regular routine and stopped as I thought ‘maybe I haven’t read any posts about loss of sensitivity’, which suddenly seemed like a possibility, and that’s what got me paranoid.

Deepwrath31 you’re absolutely right, guess I was just worried about what potential loss of sensitivity. Wish it also meant 1cm gain lol

Mike03016 it’s interesting that you’ve experienced the same thing! I did wonder if I was imagining it so hearing someone else did confirms I wasn’t. Thank you.

I have read loads of posts on here about manual stretching, none of which mention anything to do with loss of or changes in sensitivity, have any of you?

I’ve heard of people losing sensitivity from hanging, or supposedly jelquing the glands, but I’ve never experienced either of these and I jelq my glans and hang. However, that doesn’t mean it will be the same for you.

In my opinion my head has actually GAINED sensitivity since I’ve started PE. I simply attribute it to being larger and engorged with more blood. Sex has become even more enjoyable for me because of it.

Thanks Deepwrath31 - guess I’m paranoid because of some of the stories I’ve read. I always approach PE with caution, but not doing anything at all won’t help me lol

I made good gains over the first few years doing just jelqing, but since then, every time I start again something new pops up for me (last time round was noticing more turkey neck, this time this!)

I’ve not had my sensitive spot move but sure had my frenulum’s sensitivity diminished when I was being really aggressive with manual stretches. This took the form of tingling at first and later more profound dimenishment of sensation during sex (and for a couple weeks I had trouble climaxing - really not good).

Because I’ve had similar issues with nerves from a spinal-based problem in my body, I’m familiar with issues anywhere from numbness to tingling to jolts that feel like raw electrical current. As the tingles were identical to my prior experience, I realized it had to be nerve induction related, laid off my PE and time took care of things with tingles vanishing and full sensation restored (presumably after nerve problem healed).

Not exactly the same but sure sounds like your body is playing with nerve conduction issues which seems to heal for most who have posted on TP. Best of luck!

Thanks Quantum Leap. Glad to hear it got better for you. I’ve not returned to stretching since this happened and I would say there’s been a small reduction in sensitivity in that particular spot but fortunately it hasn’t affected overall sensitivity or function so no problems with climaxing. After this experience I doubt I’ll ever go back to stretching.

Update: it has taken over 3 months for normal sensitivity to return. I’m afraid my stretching days are over for good! As mentioned in my original post on this thread, I was doing a very basic newbie stretching routine and was being gentle. Definitely not for me I guess. Anyone else had this issue?

I am still asking myself how this happened. Howw exactly was your grip during stretching? And how did you warm up and warm down?
