Do I stop manual techniques?

Do I stop manual techniques?

At what point do I come to the conclusion that manual work is just not going to cut it for me?

Lately, I have been focusing a lot on reading about hanging, clamping, pumping, etc. Of the three, I have only attempted pumping, but my pump broke only 4 days into my training. I’ll outline my training thus far below:

June, 2009: discovered Thunders and the newbie routine but registration was closed.
June, 2009: began Newbie routine. For 4 weeks, I stretched for 10 minutes and jelqed for another 10 minutes. 2 on, 1 off
July, 2009: Amped up the newbie routine a little bit when I wasn’t seeing results: Jumped both up to 15 minutes each. 5 on, 2 off
August, 2009: Amped up to 20 minutes each after seeing no gains. Did this for 2 weeks. 5 on 2 off. Then I had an operation which stopped all PE.
Late September, 2009: Recovered and back to work. Started out slow for 10 days with 10 minutes of stretching and 10 minutes of jelqing. 2 on 1 off
October - November, 2009: Back up to 20 minutes of stretching (now focused on fulcrum stretching). Jelqed for 20 minutes as well. 5 on 2 off.
December 2009: Cut back for fear that I wasn’t gaining because of overtraining. Cut everything back to 10 minutes each. I also pumped for 4 sessions.
January, 2010 - present: Just jelqing and stretching for 15 minutes each on a daily basis (resting only when inconvenienced or necessary)

I always did a warmup and warmdown. Incorporated edging when I remembered. I stretched lightly at first but slowly increased intensity. Jelqing grips and pressure fluctuated, usually between medium and firm if that makes sense. Indicators have always been relatively positive. No real bouts of negativity to note. I hope I included all necessary details.

I haven’t gained much, if anything. At best, I have put on about 1/16” in length and maybe 1/16” in girth and these are only on particular good erection days. I don’t think I can accurately credit myself with any gains.

Thanks for any and all help guys!

15 mins of stretching seems to be on the lower side for a person who have more than 6 months of PE done.

I’m on my third month and do 15 min of stretching.

Well, I think I am going to continue with manual for a few more weeks while I read up as much as I can on hanging. I want to get some good length before I focus on girth. I’ll up my stretching to 30 minutes in the time being. Thanks Ritte.

I should probably add to my experience part: I discovered JELQING back in December, 2008 and was doing it off and on for the time leading up to starting an actual routine. I probably jelqed 3 or 4 times a week for about 10 minutes back then. Mainly in the shower.

If you are absolutely sure that you have done manuals with a correct technique and you haven’t got gains in 6 months of consistent work, than I think changing technique could be the right move.

Hanging requires a lot of time and requires some learning time, but if time is not an issue for you than, why not? That or a stretcher/extender. There are threads with instructions on homemade stretchers/ADS/extenders/hangers, I’d give a read to them in your pants.

Thanks marinera. It’s difficult to say whether my manual techniques were sound or not. I mean, I think I’ve been doing exactly what the techniques describe, but obviously can’t know for sure without someone watching me (not going to happen). If anything, I think I might be pulling my stretches a little too lightly. But who knows? Maybe I’m pulling them too hard.

Vantage you didn’t write anything about your PIs, they are really important.

If you are a hard gainer, you need to pay extra attention to a very thorough warm-up. Better yet use an IR lamp throughout your exercises.

From the manual work you have done so far, you should have a good ‘feel’ for how much intensity your penis can take, which is a useful pre-requisite for clamping or hanging.

Some guys just take a while before they start gaining; no-one really knows why!

But keep at it, and if you want to try hanging and/or clamping, start off light and build it up steadily while you learn the new ‘feelings’.

Good luck!

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

Bro, I recommend the Captain’s Wench. I just started PE on Friday, with no prior experience. I liked the idea of hanging and the CW was cheap to make. Also, it feels like an 18 year-old chick’s 2-hole, tight, but comfortable.

I think I am going to get the materials to make a Captain’s Wrench and begin hanging as well as continuing manual stretches. I see no other alternative as I feel like I have exhausted enough time relying on stretching and jelqing. I think if those techniques were going to be successful for me, I would have had some indication of that by now. Thanks.
