What I’m saying is let’s get as many people as we can in this piece. That way, we’d never run out of donors. Not to mention all the guys with below average units who would have access to the wealth of information stored here.

But hey, reverse psychology or not, whatever brings the donations in and keeps this place running, I’m all for it.

BTW, I’m pretty sure it was SS4Jelq that started the Fightclub references. You are not your fucking khakis!

I think you are correct Stevie, I remember SS4 using the fightclub thing a long time ago and thinking, at the time, that he had nailed it pretty well.

To me, it would be fine the first couple of times, but when everyone starts saying, “Fightclub this, fightclub that” it becomes annoying, and uncreative. Almost like playing the same song 100 times in a row. No matter how good the song is, you would hate it before the end. Nothing against those who have or are using it, but it just makes me wanna pull my….”dick” out. ;)

In another thread, someone suggested that if you had made a gain and/or if you have made more than 100 posts, then you should donate. I think that’s a good suggestion.

Also, while I have no problem with “post-whores”, it would be nice if they would chip-in a few bucks to cover the extra server space they are taking up.

Roussie, are you really paying $4 a litre for petrol? If so I’ve got some gold bricks I could let you have cheap.:)

PS What part of the States were you thinking of? I fancy Vegas for a couple of days to convert a few £00 into a few $000, then off to Californ-io.

Hey Thunder, just an idea but you could set the site up so one would have to “feed the meter” every 50 post or so. The donation could be $5 so even guys that are in school could afford it. That works out to .10 per post and maybe this would also cut out some of the same questions that keep coming up again and again.

That’s an original thought, but a few of us mods would go broke. :D

Hmmm, it might slow down the number of repetitive posts though.

I wouldn’t think that mods would be required to pay because you guys donate so much time.

$100 for a 1000 post is really cheap when you consider the time spent to post 1000 times.

That’s a good idea! It would not only help fund the forum, it would also probably improve the quality of what is posted.

I’d suggest using a smaller increment. Probably $10 for 100 posts.
