Hey SNM, I like your idea, but I think it would go against the nature of this place, which is to provide free PE info.
Instead, what I’ve done, and what I encourage other members who are financially capable to do, is to take it upon yourself to follow that plan and become a Forum Subscriber. I plan on making, say, 200 posts per month. If I charge myself $0.05 per posts, that’s only $10 a month. So what I’ve done is set it up through paypal to automatically donate that $10 every month.
Even if you don’t want to follow the plan of paying per post, setting up a forum subscription is much more convenient that having to go through the process of sending money every month or so. And think about it, if we had 20 or so members paying $10 a month regularly, we’d almost have enough to cover rent. I’m sure there’s more than 20 people here who can afford to make that kind of commitment to a place that has given them so much. I know I can, and will continue to do so. Hell, even Ms. Stevie said she’d make a pledge on my behalf. :)
