Erection quality and penile sensitivity - newbie question

Erection quality and penile sensitivity - newbie question

Hello to all.
I have searched the forum for my questions but got too many unrelated results.
I’m interested in PE and learning how to do the exercise. Its fascinating and quite unbelievable that people are having results. But I’m willing to try.
An issue that’s dear to my heart is penile sensitivity and erection quality. I would like to improve both - my penis is circumcised and its hard to feel anything in most of the penis esp. The glands as the skin feels callous.

Is there a way to improve the skin tone and sensitivity?
What creams/lubes would you use for that? What creams/lubes are generally recommended when doing “wet” PE?
Also, are you guys also working in some way on your erection quality?

I could not find any threads on the above issues, so your knowledge and expertise shared would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there!

I am NOT circumcised so I do not have your problem with low sensitivity. But I can tell you that you should start as soon as possible to do Kegels. Google or search the forum on information on Kegels. With kegels you learn to control your erection and in long term the ejaculation too. I don’t know if edging ( masturbating to the point of no return and stop just before ejaculation ) also could be a thing for you to practise. PE, and in my experience, especially Jelqing, also makes the erection alot more hard. Do not go high wild with it though. That can result in the opposite effect. The newbie routine is a good start to try out with.

Hello Moosh111 and welcome to Thunder’s Place! :D

PE does work, but you don’t have to take my words for it, you will be pleasantly surprised when you see the gains.

Improved EQ is one of the best (and first) signs that you are on the right track, on your way to gains. The greatest side effect to doing PE. As you perform the exercises, you train/condition your penile smooth muscles to hold/trap more blood inside which constitutes for the increased EQ and hardness.

Kegel exercises also improve EQ, as they promote blood flow to your penis by strengthening your pelvic floor muscles. By doing so, you also gain a bit more sensitivity.

There are discussions here on Foreskin Restoration, if you are interested of course, those who’ve done it do report increased sensitivity.

Thank you guys.

MrB8, and others, what do you recommend to use as lube for the wet exercises?

You can use any sex lube you are comfortable with. Water based lubes are easier to clean, and can be reactivated with a few drops of water. Essential oils are also good, like Almond oil, the smell is a pro.

The threads below discuss lubes. :)

Eroset’s Vein Oil

Lubricants

Thanks for taking the time to answer bro. I used coconut oil and astroglide yesterday, and the astroglide was better. I’ll check out the links.

Had my first PE session yesterday, went for 200 Jelqs after a warm up with a warm cloth. They are painful for me, even when very wet the skin is pulled hard and the base of the shaft is in pain which drops my erection and has me taking a break to get it back up every 10-20 reps. Am I doing something wrong here?

Well, it’s not that you’re doing anything wrong.

Jelquing, like everything else, requires a certain amount of experience to master.

But I would advise you to start with the “Linear Newbie Routine” (search the forum).

I had great gains starting at only 50 Jelqs and it helped a lot with the learning process.

Take it slower and you’ll learn just fine.

You are welcome. :D

You can use your non-jelqing hand to lightly hold the skin at the base and apply more lube to make the stroke slide easier.

Also do not use a too tight grip, just enough to move blood up the shaft and to the glans. If you see glans expansion, you are doing good.

You should not be fully erect for Jelqing, an erection level of about 50% is enough.

As mentioned above, you need time and practice to perfect your technique, so experiment and find what works best for you.

Good luck. :D

Thanks brother. I’ve tried what you suggested, and it is still painful enough to kill any erection I have.
What I ended up doing was that I worked to 80-90% erection and than jelqed, having enough erection “reserve” to get in a few good reps.
I’m doing the minimal tightness to get blood flowing, but my shaft skin is always pulled so much up:( its just so elastic from years of circumcised sex I guess.

I did measure myself though - added starting measurements at sig:) and here:

Measurements - 20/11/15
FL 3.15, FL to bone 3.75 FG 3.9 EL 4.75 EL to bone 5.5 EG 4.9

I’ve read that bio oil is really good to use on your penis. It’s what I use for lube when I jelq. It’s a little expensive though if you use it every day or so.

May I have your attention Moosh111?

For erection issues I suggest doing 30 2 sec kegels every other day.You don’t need more.

As for the rest, use extra virgin olive oil to jelq. You may need extra quantity cause it dries a little faster but its nutrients are top for your penis. You have a double benefit.

You can try applying heat, then cold, then heat again, then cold again, etc. to make your penis wake up and be more sensitive to the touch.Could work.Try it with water in the shower.

Also, slap the penis to wake it up.

BPEL 7 EG 5.5 NBPEL 6.5 Flaccid length 4.5. Started Jan 2015 at bpel 6.5 nbpel 6.0 and eg 5.2 flaccid length was 3.5

I have reached my goal. At least for now.
