Even a taper, wet vs dry jelq?
Hey guys,
Right now I’m doing a scaled down version of the newbie routine.
Warm up
5 min manual stretching
40 to 50 slow, careful dry jelqs at about 50% erection.
I dry jelq for several reasons. One being the convenience of not using lube and also, I like the expansion I get with it vs wet jelqing. The last reason is I have genital herpes and lube seems to be a trigger for outbreaks :(
I am circumcised so I can only jelq about halfway up the shaft. It was my thinking that this would help even out my taper.
I recently read xenoliths post explaining sparkys hypothesis about strain ellipse mechanics. Im not the most scientifically inclined but it got me thinking that dry jelqing only the bottom half of my shaft might be making the bottom half of my shaft gain faster than the top half due to the strain being strongest where my hand is on the jelq.
My base has grown faster in the past from pumping and some clamping before my injury. Also possibly from mostly dry jelqing but I’m not positive that strain ellipse mechanics actually apply to jelqing. So who knows?
Either way I’d like to even my taper somewhat if possible.
Do you guys think that dry jelqing the top half of the shaft would help even the taper or would wet jelqing the whole shaft work better?
