Heat And Massage On Rest Days
So I’m taking the careful approach but can already see how easy it is to get sucked into overdoing it. I want to do something on rest days and am resisting the urge to do any PE (then no longer a rest day!).
It got me thinking to my recovery and physio from a torn back muscle last year, I used lots of heat and massage to encourage blood flow and healing.
To avoid any further strains from additional PE, does anyone think that heat treatment and massage on rest days would actually help progress rather than risk any overwork as want to avoid that and be injury free.
