So I did the linear newbie routine pretty consistently for about a month, typically 3-4 times a week. I didn’t make any EG or EL gains so I’ve been a lot more on and off since then. What might I be doing wrong? I read the PI thread and I haven’t been getting any positive, neutral, or negative PI’s. Even after a 25 min session there is no noticeable difference in my flaccid hang, EQ, or anything else at all.

Not Enough Time To See Gains

Hey man, welcome to the forum.

You are not doing anything wrong, but you have to be more patient than that. One month is not even close to enough to make a difference, for some takes months just to see first gains, I mean even five months or more, we are all different.

I suggest you to continue with Linear routine and be consistent. Try to understand and implement PE into your lifestyle, enjoy the journey, do not worry about gains, they will come.

I will stress as well do not add too much, to soon to you routine. Gradually increase workout as you are getting ready for more intensive stress and tension.

Don’t focus on results too much, PE isn’t an overnight thing. A month is still a fairly short period of time especially at the beginning.

I honestly ran into the same thing when I started almost 2 decades ago and got hugely discouraged when I didn’t see any immediate results. I just stopped thinking about it and just made it part of my daily routine. I forgot how long it was but I just remember one night I felt a noticeable increase in both length and girth.

Thanks guys, I’ll keep that in mind. I actually haven’t been measuring much lately, just trying to get the right feeling during the exercises.

Bsdnix, you said you did PE every day? Would you recommend this or should I take a few days off per week?

You need rest days. It’s not recommended to PE everyday.
