How hard do you guys pull when first starting stretching?

I’m getting back into the swing of things, and my first two days were fine. Woke up with morning wood, random erections throughout the day, etc. I took a day off yesterday (and smoked 1 cigarette), and this morning did my workout. I think I pulled a little harder than the first two times, then did 50 jelqs, and after the workout I turtled up. No red spots or anything, but my penis just shrunk to normal size, maybe tinier. My “inner penis” feels tough. This always happens when I try to get in the swing of things, and it always ends up discouraging me. I’m wondering if it’s that I’m: a) pulling too hard b) the cigarette (I don’t normally smoke and will not be smoking anymore) c) jelqing too hard d) it’s normal. I don’t think I was jelqing with anymore intensity. Has anyone run into a similar issue? How did you resolve it?

Sounds normal to me… Shrunk back to NORMAL size… I’m not sure what you mean… Do you expect it to stay in an extended state after pulling? Mine doesn’t, yet I have gained several cm over the years. Growth is slow.

I notice that my penis is more difficult to stretch after I had ejaculated recently or if I have done alot of jelqing, stretching or pumping recently.

I went through a period recently where I only did stretching and definitely pulled too hard, as my ligaments toughened up and I lost length.

I lay in a hot bath and really tugged as the hot water softened the tissue over time, and I was able to get a great stretch, or so I thought until I measured and found that I had lost a 1/4 inch or so after about six weeks on this routine.

I did some reading here and found that this can happen as the ligaments toughen if you pull too hard, and so I took a week off and went back to my old mechanical stretcher which gave me my first inch, and have been slowly getting back to my old routine again with the confidence that I will get the old length back and more.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

Find your BPSFL. Try and use enough force to make it slightly over that figure, but not much more. That is how I do it. My BPFSL is around 190 (After Hanging/ADS) so I stretch to about 200.


Start (May 2011) 5.75 BPEL x 4.7 MSEG - (1 Year) 7.2 BPEL x 5 MSEG - (Current (17months)) 7.5BPEL x 5.2MSEG

Goal: Something Monstrous.

If you can stretch to 200, isn’t your BPFSL 200? Or can you honestly gain 1cm in a session?

I stretch to around 7 1/4” presently with my mechanical stretcher and my dick returns to around 5 1/2” flaccid after the session, after which I use cling wrap to maintain the flaccid length while I work. This does several things, firstly it stops turtling, and over time I believe it allows for growth.and frankly it feels good to be stretched out all day long, and it may be crazy but it makes me smile occasionally to know I’m making my dick bigger and the wrapped unit is a reminder.

I started stretching not long ago and think I did it too hard too. What I find strange is that I can’t get anywhere near my erect length unless I stretch pretty damn hard, which seems to be far too much. What does that mean? And I certainly hope that toughened ligaments can be loosened again.

Cling wrap? Can you explain this please.. I’m intrigued.

The wrap he uses underneath his hanger for traction and to protect the skin.

Oh.. I thought he meant he left a wrap on his dick all day to keep it stretched.

This thread and my recent experience with loss of length makes me wonder.. Why do I have to stretch really hard in order to reach my erect length? What does that say about my tunica and ligaments?

That is right. I gain 1cm over a session, I’d guess. Probably between .5 and 1 at least.

I consider my BPFSL around 185, because that is what it is if I haven’t done any PE at all. After wearing the ADS for a few hours it goes up to 190, which I then try to increase up to 200 while I do manual work.

It then goes back down again for the next day, so I’m not really gaining 1cm a session, though that’d be great. I’d hit ten inches in a week or so!

Well, it’s not the cigarette. I’m a smoker too and it doesn’t effect. Not saying cigarettes are healthy, but no effect to penis.
