Ideal warm up temperature - a myth?

Cool Down - YES You NEED It!

Decemeber 2007: 5.8" BPEL x 4.9" MSEG

Current:-------->7.7" BPEL x 5.7" MSEG (7.2" NBPEL)

Current Goal:--->7.6" BPEL X 5.8" MSEG Do or do not, there is no "try".

There are many pseudoscientific* words that does not mean anything. I will not go into details because it would take hours for me to translate in English.

* I’m not sure this word exists in English !

Oh it exists alright! And I for one know exactly what you mean when you say there were many pseudoscientific words on that site. They do that kind of stuff all the time.

I do a cooldown at the end of my session of PE for a while. The idea is to finish with a stretching and cooling the tissues in this position. In this way, the collagen fibers are frozen instead of returning to their original structure. It is a theory that many believe. I am not sure of it, but I like it. On the contrary, I don’t agree with the interest of a warm down… but, once again, no certainty. If it was, I think I wouldn’t need to spend so much time on this site;) .

Hey Graal, anymore experiments ? :)

I use only IR, indeed. I don’t understand what you are speaking of with “cold side” (but my English is very basic ;) ).

I have just measured and communicated the result. I’ve been surprised by the result too.

I practice the heating, but it seems that the interest of this practice is disputed by some. Here’s a link to a site (in French, but you can get help through the automatic translation from Google:) ).

The person who wrote this text is a doctor specialist in bio mechanic. It’s even an expert in this field. He claims that limber up without warm up are more effective and he gives gives a credible explanation.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I agree with him. But this theory is very interesting and worth pondering.

So that guy said that not warming up is better for this “plastic deformation ” ?

Hello.
No, sorry, I didn’t make any other experiment.

He said that warming up makes tissues more elastic. So, to reach the threshold of plastic deformation, it will require a higher tension and, therefore, more effort.

Or you have to stretch further to reach the same tension !

My question is what if the mechanism for gains is true growth through hyperplasia, would heat make any difference in that case ?

So, I did it. I’ve inserted a thermometer on my urethra(it felt weird).I used a glass of hot water turned upside down towards the base of my penis. After about 3 minutes, my temperature was 38.7 C. After another 1-2 min of cooling down it dropped to 37.4 C.

I did this in a hurry. Next time I’ll heat more and try to figure out how to maintain the high temperature through some means( as Graal’s experiment with using IR to maintain).

How far into the Urethra are you guys sticking the Thermometer… and what type of thermometer? I wouldn’t mind contributing.

Size is little more than a controllable perception without an accurate means of measurement.

Mine is something like this

I insert it about 1-2 cm, VERY slowly.

Mine looks like yours. But I am able to push it a little deeper (3 or 4 cm).

It is important is to sterilize before use to prevent urinary infection.

I sit in a hot bath for half an hour while using a mechanical stretcher, and I find that I get a great stretch after five minutes or so. I’m not sure the temperature of the water, but my skin is red.

Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

I honestly wince and shudder every time I see you guys type I put something in my urethra

Start:7.5 BPEL X 5 MSEG

Goal: 7 MSEG

Heere We GOOooh!

Has anyone tried those TDP IR mineral lamps? The purportedly permeate the tissues much more effectively than traditional ir devices.

Started hanging on 3/28/12 after minimal gains on the newbie routine. Still not discouraged! This game is 99.9% mental. Stick with it, gents.

After 1 month of hanging 5-6lbs BTC: 1/4" gain in BPEL and BPFSL!

I have not found any site in french speaking of these lamps, (?) and I have a limited knowledge of English.

If I understand correctly, those lamps would have therapeutic properties due to the emission of minerals. I don’t understand how minerals could be “emitted”. I think the only characteristic that determines the penetration depth of IR is their wavelength.

For warm up, we just have to know if we use a bulb for healthcare applications and if the power is suitable.
