Injury - Mild pop

Injury - Mild pop

Long time lurker, first post. I started the newbie routine in August and ordered the X4 in December. I have used it with good results and no issues. Yesterday, I was a bit overzealous and had the tension pretty high. I had a mild pop/snap feeling in the left side towards the base. Slight pain - more like that was interesting rather than ouch. I took off the extender and took a hot bath.

I had morning wood and can get an erection. No bruising or pain today. It feels a little off, but that could be me obsessing. I don’t think it was a lig pop because it was on the left side of the shaft close to the base. I’m concerned because I have never felt that before. Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Quick update. It’s been two days and the pain has migrated to the base behind the left testicle - to be clear it’s the penis and not the testicle. It’s a mild discomfort. Still can get an erection and no bruising. I don’t know if it can be the bulbospongiosus muscle or the tunica. I just don’t know what ligament it could be given this is in the left side towards the base. I’m going to rest for a week and then see my urologist if it’s not better, which I hope to avoid.

Has anyone had a mild pop towards base? What is it? I don’t believe it’s a lig pop. In hindsight, I had the tension too high with the extender. Thanks for any replies.

I’ve not experienced anything as you’ve described nor read about anyone else experiencing it either. If someone has, perhaps they’ll comment. Nonetheless, I believe your plan of waiting a week (or longer) is appropriate. When you do decide to re start, I’d suggest start at lower tension and gradually work up.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7.75” BPEL; 7.25” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Thanks for replying. Definitely will start lower some time down the road. This was shocking BC all was going well and I’m generally cautious.

I posted because I couldn’t find anything similar on the injury or extenders thread.

Yes, it wasn’t a lig pop because they are freaky but painless. Since it is just a mild pain, I think your body should take care of it over the next few days. Then just stay away from stretching for at least a month or two.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Thanks gprent. That’s definitely the plan.

The event itself really did not hurt. More like what the hell was that. My initial thought was lig pop, but I assumed that was more towards the pubic bone and not in the left base area, but I have no idea. This had a quiet popping sensation, but also like a thin string snapping. Now that I have obsessed over it, my memory is clouding the entire incident. Immediately after, no pain. But now a mild discomfort. If I didn’t have that feeling popping feeling, I would not think twice about the current sensation. Obviously, with fear of trauma I’m completely hyperfocused. Just hoping it heals so I don’t have to go see the doc who will think what I’m doing is ridiculous - nice urologist, but he would frown on this.
