Jelq Speed and Intensity - A Theory for Beginners

I’ve lurked for about 3 months (first post!) and started jelqing about 2 months ago. I’ve read up on various threads and I have a theory about jelqing I thought I might share. Before I do, I should say that I was ~5.2 NBPEL x 5 EG before I began, and I am now ~5.8 NBPEL x 5.3 EG. When I began, I did not fully understand proper jelqing technique. I jelqed about 300 strokes a day roughly 5 times a week; however I did fast jelqs that lasted a little less than a second. These jelqs were low intensity, meaning I did not apply much pressure with my OK grip. I did this for about 5 weeks before I noticed my penis had become tougher, and when jelqing, blood did not feel like it was expanding my unit as much as it did before. At this time I gained about 0.25 inches in length. I then read more about proper jelqing technique and realized that I was supposed to do longer jelqs that lasted about 3 seconds. Upon learning this, I adjusted my routine. My new routine begins with a few minutes of manual stretches, followed by roughly 150 long and higher intensity jelqs (with a kegel while jelqing every 5th jelq). I have been doing this for the past 3 weeks and have now received length gains that surpass my first 5 weeks (I gained about 0.35 inches in 3 weeks). I should also note that my new routine is performed only 2-3 times per week (school started back up). Gains from this new routine do not appear to be slowing down.
I theorize that quick, low intensity jelqs helped prepare my newbie penis for PE without over training it. I believe I have blessed with above average gains, considering the amount of time spent. Perhaps this success is due to my initial “mistake” of doing quick, low intensity jelqs. I read somewhere here that starting off slow is better for long term gains and I believe there is truth to this statement. I urge other newbies to test this out and share their experiences. If anyone has questions, I’ll check back periodically to hopefully provide some answers.
