Just here to say I practiced jelqing and stretching 6 months, gained 0.2 length and girth.

Then I stopped because I thought I was overtraining and I gained 0.1 in length while stopping :o

There is a theory based on tissue remodeling that seems to bear out that gaining is also done while on break because truly complete body repair takes weeks and months. And repair to the penis can be gains.

Hi guys. Really great to be here and happy to be posting for the first time. I’ve known about this site for quite a while now, almost 4 years. Problem is that I’ve never really had the privacy to do PE well enough.

I’ve recently started PE again and I need to ask about heating. Is there anything such as overheating while warming up for PE? Does it have any negative effects on gains? I’ve been on the 2 days on and 1 day off routine and I’ve noticed I have not had good erections. I hope my question is well understood. Thanks as you answer.

This is my first post even though I have been a long time (18mos) lurker, and have finally joined. Although I am a true believer in PE, I found Thunder’s, and PE, by accident. My story is complex and unconventional and contains some of the words that cause trouble here on TP like “Gainswave” and “P-shot”.

I’m 58, have been on T-replacement for several years and take 5mg Cialis daily for mild ED. I’m a natural 7” BPEL x 5.25” EG, have a turkey neck, am a grower not a shower and my unit stretches out very long and thin.

I’m semi retired having retired from a very stressful job around 3 years ago. The kids were gone and my wife of close to 30 years had transitioned from mommy mode to woman mode and we were redefining our relationship in a very very good way. Life was good, until it wasn’t. A better way to say that is: sex was great, until it wasn’t.

My ED started to progressively worsen and I increased my Cialis use to maximum daily until one day about two years ago nothing worked. I panicked, did some research and went to my doctor hoping I just had a hormone imbalance or something simple. My hormones were ok and the doctor said my ed had just gotten worse. I’d read about the Pshot during my research and asked about it. He replied that the Pshot was an option but he recommended trying Gainswave first. He also indicated a tension ring (cock ring) might be something I might consider. I promptly shelved that idea. He then gave me 1 treatment to test it out. After a week or so I was starting to see an occasional morning semi, so thought it was an improvement, so went for the full 6 treatment over 3 weeks regime. Part of the treatment was to use a vaccum pump twice a day for 10 minutes at 10hg, which I religiously did.

I started having better morning wood and was able to have more regular sex again. My EQ was very inconsistent and had a lot of 80% and not very many 100% erections. Still had an occasional “stuffer”, but all in all I thought I was still improving.

Several weeks into this, my wife made the comment that my unit used to have a slight left curve and now it was significantly up, and had I noticed it. I had not noticed it, or certainly didn’t pay any attention to it. Indeed I now had 45° upward curve starting a little more than halfway down the shaft on my circumcision scar. What I had noticed was that when I was pumping my unit seemed to be longer than I had thought it was. The extreme upward curve limited how much pressure I could pump to due to my penis hitting the side of the cylinder. Very curious, I thought to my self while getting a nice warm feeling. But back to the doctor I went to ask about the new upward curve. He suggested it might be due to Peyronie’s, yet there was no apparent scar or plaque buildup and I could not recollect any injuries. In any case, he wanted to wait at least 4 months to let the Gainswave continue working.

In the meantime, I had come across Thunder’s Place as I was researching vac pumps, and read about extenders as a method to straighten a curved penis. I ordered a P4 labs extender and began to use it, and began to visit TP’s more frequently, and began to pay more attention to all things penis, like EQ and penis size.

About 6+ months post Gainswave, my Doctor suggested Pshot as a treatment for my Peyronie’s. The treatment was basically the regular 2 injections each side, 2 in the head but with 2 more localized at the start of the curvature. I had used numbing cream so there was no pain. As with Gainswave, the doctor said to continue using the vac pump, which I had not stopped using. Immediately post Pshot I didn’t have any of the “heavier, fuller” response that I’ve seen from others. Just a numb, extremely turtled dick. My dick hates the numbing cream and tries to disappear inside every time I applied it.

Next morning as I am into my vac pump regime, dang if my curve wasn’t significantly improved. A month later I had Pshot #2 with same results, and then 3rd shot a month later. With the third shot I actually regressed and saw an increase in the angle. It was now early May and we were about to head to the beach for a couple of weeks vacation and I asked for a 4th shot, which did bring the angle back down some to around 20° where it has stayed. Much more manageable angle now.

Although I was pleased with my overall results from all of the treatments, I was still frustrated by the inconsistency of my EQ. Even if I woke up with excellent morning wood, it was no guarantee I would have a good erection for morning sex. I had read more about cock rings and finally broke down and tried one, and started with a large O ring from the big box store. Dang if I didn’t start having much stronger erections, so I bought some “real” ones.

The thin O rings gave my turkey neck some serious ball burns. I have since learned that lots of lotion throughout the day helps to reduce the ball burn. The lotion also helps prevent ball burn from the P4 extender. I also wear two cock rings now. The first one is a little thicker, is slightly larger and is more elastic than the main cock ring. I believe this helps to keep the turkeyneck from bunching up around the main cock ring, or the single cock ring digging in to one spot.

The cock rings are now standard for sex. Initially I was getting lots of 100% EQ results and the occasional 110%. We were both pleased with the results.

So how does this long boring story tie in to PE? Many if not all of my process I had read about here, giving me confidence to try them. Although the ED and my curve makes measuring my dick a difficult procedure, I am confident I have increased my length by about an inch, and my girth by at least 1/4”. I have measured 7” NBPEL and with the cock ring a 6” girth. I think I’ve probably hit 6-1/4” a few times, but haven’t verified it other than hand measurement and my wife’s response. I continue to use the vac pump daily and the P4 extender as I can. I have almost 500 hrs into the extender after one year. I now believe that I did not have Peyronies, instead that my dick had grown unevenly by about an inch on the bottom and less on the top, causing the curve.

I use the vac pump multiple times a day for “quicky” 2 - 3 min inflations to keep good blood flow in my unit. Before sex I use the vac pump to “pre stretch” my penis. I don’t know if this is real or not, but mentally I get comfort from it. After I put on the cock rings, I pump up to see here the cock rings are, then push them down my dick just a little bit more. Recall that I am a grower with a very elastic dick. However, I am beginning to be a shower some of the time and hope that continues. I don’t measure very frequently, so not totally sure where I am. My wife doesn’t like me to pull out a measuring tape just before insertion.. I guess she doesn’t think it’s much of a turn on.

While my growth in length happened quickly and early on, I am hopeful to break the 8” BPEL mark sometime. I do think I am seeing girth growth. I think the cock rings are acting as a clamp and are stretching and forcing my cock thicker. My evidence is that I seem to be hitting the 6” girth more regularly and haven’t been able to use my smallest cock ring in a while. Funny how in my mind and in my hand I know 7”x6” is large, but it just doesn’t look like it is.

Is edging every day while not doing any PE exercises okay or should the average person do 2 days on 1 day off?

If you approach and apply the edging as lightly as you can, without gripping too hard, just enough to maintain the penis 100% erect, you can experiment doing it everyday.

I think the ideal duration for this would be between 5 and 10 minutes, without any porn and avoiding kegeling while at it.

I have learned a lot about PE from everyone here at Thunders Place and I’m hoping to take all this knowledge and implant it in my dick! Not literally.. But I know I found the right place at Thunders to achieve the gains that I desire. I have done the newbie routine for a solid 6 months and didn’t gain anything, not even better EQ. I then switched up my routine to light manual stretching and jelqing while adding hanging to get my length where I want it. Over the course of 3 months increased my hanging weight from 3 to 15lbs and always doing 3 x 20min reps every day. I have yet to see any measurable gains in length and wonder what I’m doing wrong.

People respond differently to PE. There are a lot of variables at play that we need to better understand. One example might be the question of, do you use heat during your routines?

My recommendation is that you start a progress thread. This will be your home where we can work with you to better understand all the details of your history and current approach. We can ask more questions and hopefully provide suggestions.
