My first post here so I’ll try to explain my situation and keep it brief.
I’m 46 and very sexual, horny 90% of the day. Not sure if this is just typical maleness or I have a problem. But I’ve been masturbating since I was 8 years old and sexually active at 15.
My penis though isn’t big at all, I’m 4" flaccid and 5.75" erect, my girth is at a 4.5 to 4.25 but I never realized this as an issue because the Lord gave me an excellent tongue for talking and nocturnal activities, lol.
Anyway, about 3 months ago I discovered I was having issues getting hard and staying hard during sex.
So being devastated that I lost my mojo I started a manic online search on how to fix this. Unfortunately I didn’t run across this site sooner but I found that a penis pump would help me with my ED issue. So I purchased this penis pump from Amazon

So the first time I use the pump I was amazed at how it transformed my dick. Not only was I harder I was thicker and longer. (Didn’t measure) It felt like I was holding someone else’s cock, lol.
Anyway the next night before sex I pumped up and the results were amazing! I was able to stay hard and I could feel the walls and hit the pelvic bone a bit. My wife came 5 times in the 10 minutes we fucked which really boosted my ego.
So now I wanted to know how much can I use the pump and how long could I pump because I actually like the look of it now, even though I know it temporary it feels awesome to look at.

But anyway what I want to know is being a newb, can I start with pumping 101 or do I need to start with the jelqing routine first? I’ve already done a week already following these steps daily:
Warm up
10 min pump
5 min jelqs
Warm down with a massage
Now I know the pump I have does not have gauge but I’ve been pumping at a comfortable level and hold for 10 minutes. So far I haven’t noticed any spotting or donutting (1st time I used I had a donut but none since)
I will purchase a LeLuv soon but wanted to know if this is a good start.

As a follow-up to my OP I would rather have girth gains then length but wouldn’t mind an additional inch.

Most advice always says to use the Newbie routine first. However, if pumping is what you enjoy you will probably get more out of it because you will be more devoted to getting it done right. If you’re going to use a pump with a gauge starting with the 101 routine should be fine.

If you can’t enjoy PE you won’t stick with it. If you enjoy pumping stick with it.

Additionally get a heating pad. Wrap it around the cylinder and find the right temperature for your sessions. Warm and comfortable. You will find more effectiveness that way. Heat, especially with pumping, is always a good choice.

It’s good that your getting a leluv. That’s not a good pump you bought and it’s too big for most guys. Also cockrings have been good to me in bed. You’ll probably need a 1.75 inch tube. Your routine looks fine as long as you stay within 5hg while pumping. Remember if it hurts stop.

Good to hear that you have enjoyed some progress. I found that the newbie routine was one of the most transformational routines I have ever followed and hope that you too have an opportunity to engage in that.

1. Can I still pump prior to sex?

2. When can I incorporate the pump into the newbie routine or can I do both?

So after the replies I received, I began the a newbie jelq and only user the pump from Amazon for sex only.
But I still wanted to pump because I loved the feeling of it and love how my looks afterwards.
So luckily for me, I have a Harbor freight brick and mortar store about 20 mins away and bought the 19.99 breaker pump with gauge. They did have the mityvac on sale for 34.99 but opted for the cheaper one for now.

My regiment now is:
5 min warmup
Stretching
100 jelqs
X2 5 min pump sessions with the 1st at around 4-5 hg and 2nd to about 8. I also incorporate a heating pad around the cylinder
Warm down for 5 min
Edging/ballooning
I’ve noticed so far my flaccid hang is much longer. I’ve been going commando half my but now need to wear boxers because I show more, especially in sweats.
Also I had purchased a tailor measuring tape to properly measure my self and these are the results
Start FEB 6 2019
BPFSL - 5.0
NBPFSL -4.0
BPEL - 6.0
NBPEL - 5.5

MSFG - 4.5
MSEG - 5.0

I’ll measure at the end of March to check gains.
