Hey, I have been doing PE for a little over a year but didn’t really have a routine, I am starting with the new routine doing 2 or 3 days on and 1 day off. I was wondering if on the day off, I could use my little wrap I have made on my won to kind of be an ads, which I use to pretty much proven turtling and such. Or should I not do that and just not do anything at all on the day off. Because I have heard that the days offer when the work actually goes into effect, so was wondering if I should use my wrap on the day off or not. Thanks

I’m not a professional at PE yet, but my take on it is just like with any other body part, muscle or ligament: on the rest day day you absolutely rest so that your body has time and can recover. Healing is as important as training.

Check your PIs and contour your plan to match your body and how well it takes to the stress and recovery. Too many variables from person to person to know how it’s going to affect recovery.

For example you can have 100 percent perfect diet do cardio be happy and active and your body will recovery better than someone who doesn’t.

It’s all about trials and learning what best fits you. Keep a good log and keep going.

Off days are off nothing else.

Over doing it is simply that, over doing it, no matter what your doing. Your body will need a rest or it will be not the same for awhile, as far as PEing, your lig can end up going into a lull, and you will not see any gains until you take a lot of time off. Do not get yourself in the same routine, for example, you take every Monday off the exercise, because your body will learn your routine, you have to mix it up. I started on the newbie routine, but I never left it. I would do the newbie routine before my advanced exercises, it is a great warm up exercise once you are ready for more advanced. I gained quickly, very quickly, I am a vet here. Just know, you must believe that the exercises you are doing is working for you, you must have that belief that what you are doing is working for you. PE is easy, it really is, but don’t be so hard on yourself, excuse the pun. don’t PE at the same time everyday either, switch it up. like I mentioned, your body will learn the time you are going to start exercising. be careful.
