Power J Gym Jelqing Device

Has anyone tried the Power J Jelqing Device. Don’t know if this would be easier on my penis since I tend to get lots of skin irritation with manual and home built jelqing device. I like the idea of dry jelqing for stealth but not sure if it would be noisier than any of the other methods. Not a spokesperson but url is jelqgym.com Very expensive but would it be worth it. I know Thunders is more of a do it yourselfer but already had one close call and one person caught me already. Surprisingly she thought I was way big enough already (Not my wife either). Opinions?

Not a bad idea. Power jelqs tend to put too much pressure on the penis. You can make your own pj with a jar lifter

Yeah. I’ve already built one but my skin seems to get irritated by the foam too much. Still prefer dry jelqing. It’s stealthier. I’ve also been trying zinc oxide afterwards. Works really well at healing skin.

Agree. I use baby powder. Anyway you shouldn’t have skin irritation while performing dry jelqs. Your hand should move the skin, without any friction between skin and fingers.

I have more reading to do then. I would think wet jelqing would promote skin slippage. Do wet & dry jelqing target different areas of cellular growths? Or is it just a preference?

Generally speaking, dry jelqs target width a bit more than wets. They cause less skin growth too, and of course don’t require lube.

Billy: I made the homemade powerjelq, hated it. My penis is curved so it kept slipping out with each stroke. Would have happened with the high-dollar web version too.

For jelq lube, I highly recommend Albolene unscented. It is a facial moisturizer, sold in drugstores in the make-up department. About $11.00 for a jar of it, but you only need a tiny dab so the jar will last you a year or more. Does not dry out, so you do not need to keep reapplying. Which makes it great for jelqing and also long edging sessions. I have been using it for about 35 years now - great for dick skin as it is a moisturizer. My dick does not look a day over 20 years old. :)

Marinera: what is your dry jelq technique? I have never gotten the hang of them.

I’ms sorry that this will sound a bit hard to understand, by I’ll try anyway.

I grip my penis at about 1/3 from the base, at about 50% erection, with a grip just as tight as required to make the skin slide on the shaft. I pull the skin back, then I tighten the grip a bit - I want to move blood inside the penis now.

Slowly I move the hand toward the glans; the stroke will stop at about 2/3 of the shaft. Tightness of the grip can vary through the stroke - when I’m about at 1/3 of the stroke, I generalli lighten up a bit, because I feel too much pressure. After about 10-15 strokes, you can feel your penis is near exploding, so to speak.

If one is uncircumcised, there will be no significative skin stretch; this because, simply pulling the skin behind the glans, will leave enough of ‘free’ skin to perform the whole movement without stretching the skin.

If one is cut, instead, a good trick would be stopping the stroke at about 1/2 of the shaft or less; then, using the other hand as a torniquette, start the stroke a bit higher on the shaft (and pulling the skin back a bit higher from the base as well). Kinda breaking the exercise in two parts, if you get what I mean.

I feel the slower the better, generally speaking; I’d say at least 5 seconds.

When I first started I was using a pricey water based lube. Later on I found a recipe online, which is also posted here for making your own EVO oil. Because it’s olive oil based, I was a little apprehensive. The initial outlay for the essential oils can run $20 but they’ll last a very long time. I will look into the Albolene though. If hard to explain away the scent of lavender and lemongrass.
