Psychological benefits of successful PE.
Hello everyone,
I have been lurking around here for quite some time now and finally joined. I must say I am impressed with the wealth of knowledge and support to be found here.
I want to start out giving a little background for the statement I will be presenting here today.
I am a Baptist pastor; quick disclaimer here, I do not and will not judge you for who you are or what you do! It is not my place to, I am to love unconditionally.
That being said, I have a great amount of experience in the field of counselling. One thing that I have learned over the years is the benefit of support and visible results.
In Thunder’s a place has been provided to supply these two essential factors in emotional growth.
Men are born with a need to feel that they can provide for others. Whether that be financially, physically, and or emotionally. This in its self brings forth a need to be the best provider your partner has ever had.
If for any reason we feel we are not said best, two things can happen.
One, we can withdraw from the situation. Leading to more problems.
Two, we can seek a way to remedy our insecurity.
The men here have taken the first step to option number two. We have decided to make ourselves the best in the area we feel we fall short; no pun intended.
In my personal life PE has provided me with the ability to overcome my insecurity. Everyday I wake up knowing that, I’m in control of how big I am. That if I am willing to put forth the energy and dedication, I can achieve my goals.
When I first started I would be depressed and wonder if it was really going to work. Then I took advantage of this wonderful forum.
I began reading success stories and taking the advice of seasoned PE vets.
Next thing I knew, I began seeing some gains. This boosted my self-esteem and took a huge weight off my shoulders. My wife began to notice the size change, and that further improved my well-being.
I started feeling like a real man. My interactions with my children improved; I was less irritated by them. My general outlook became healthier.
All of this came about because of Thunder’s and all the wonderful men who have taken the time to help others.
Brothers, I thank you all.
Newbies, take your time, take advice, and grow! Not just your unit will grow, but you as a man will grow. You will become happier and healthier both physically and most importantly, psychologically!
