Questions About InfraRed Lamp and Heating

Questions About InfraRed Lamp and Heating

After a lot of research i decided to change my heating method. I was using a dry heating pad, but looks like moist heat like a warm cloth soaked in hot water is better, and even better an infrared lamp allied to this during your routine. So that’s what i’m gonna do, warm damp cloth to heat for 10 min pre-workout, and infrared during the workout.

Do you think this lamp is good enough? And how can i use them without the heat getting into the balls? I didn’t figured that out yet. It says it is a 150w lamp good for physioterapeutic purposes.

Another question, since moist heat is the better option compared to dry heat, wouldn’t be a good idea to get a hot glass of water and soak your penis inside it to warm it up? Or the cloth is better?

Yes, I have and use that one. There is no problem heat going to the balls in my honest opinion, thing is you don’t want to target the lamp to the balls, only to the penis, infrared heat in the balls are good to increase testosterone.

Who says so? Never, ever do something stupid like that, I did it and regret almost every week that I did this for 1 year. I don’t believe heat is important for before the exercise, but it should be RULE for during the exercise, not before nor after.

Studies show red light and near infrared light can be good for increasing testosterone.

However, heat lamps (especially far infrared, in my opinion) can cause permanent testicular damage. It’s best not to heat the balls directly, whenever possible:

I made a heat shield so I can heat directly while hanging without heating the testicles too much:

As always, just my $0.02. I’m sure some have had heat lamps on their balls for years to no ill effects, but I prefer to minimize the risk.

IR and Near IR are good for T and cell growth. Just ensure you don’t feel the heat, balls don’t like the heat. Plenty of LED lamps with 660 and 850 nm on the shopping sites.
