Should You Do Anything On Rest Day?

Any input on this would be appreciated.

Should I do anything on my rest day? Normally I heat, stretch, jelque, kegel. Do I skip everything or should I heat and kegel for example. Not necessarily at the same time.

Is there something completely different that others have come up with. I just want to have the most productive rest day possible.

I watch football and leave my penis alone. I think that’s why they call it a rest day.

Lol.. So I Stretch 7 days a week right now and am seeing how it works so far its been beneficial.. But as far as jelqing I take 2 rest days a week.. Heat kegal and strech everyday is what I do

I didn’t mean to say that I was doing all those things on the rest days. That’s what my ON days consisted of.

I have just been doing kegels in bed with light stretching on my rest days. Not a real fan of stretching because I find there are grip issues. Definitely not over-stretching on my ON days.

Really think uncircumcised men have more challenges with the foreskin movement and glan sensitivity. Could just be I need more than 4 weeks practice.

Dabears.. I agree with grip issues as my head is not that big.. There are things to use for that I think I’ve heard of gem powder and another things.. As far as over stretching there is definitely a limit where you can cause injury but what I’m finding is that I can stretch harder than I think and have been gaining because of it

Funny, I found Marinera’s thread “Tricks And Tips For Manual Stretching” last nite and it’s really good.

I think I will continue with the light stretching and kegels on my rest days.

Then it’s simply not a rest day. You have to tailor PE to yourself and your lifestyle but keep in mind rest days are Important as are de conditioning breaks.

I thought rest days were for hook ups.

Well, based on the expert advice offered on this thread, I have officially adopted complete rest days as part of my Newbie Routine.

One thing that needs to be stated.

Rest is important.

The other thing is the longer you go without rest, the less effective any exercise will become.

Tissue must heal and regenerate and it hs s trouble doing that when you keep screwing with it. It does heal somewhat when we sleep but our bodies heal constantly if we aren’t actively damaging them. Taking complete rest days gives your routine a boost because your body is more ready to get back into whatever it is you’re doing.

It is very hard for me to do nothing on a rest day. I often will still “pull it out” since I’m a grower and try to get it to be a shower, even if it’s only while I’m in the bathroom.

I’ll also often pull at it a bit when laying in bed. It’s hard to not want it to just be at max length.

This isn’t really exercise, but I do pull it taught; so it’s also not nothing.
