Starting enlargement with low T

Hi! I’ve noticed during the past two years that my penis isn’t getting as hard or long as it use to. I got my testosterone tested and it is low.

Total Testosterone 176 ng/dl
Sex Hormone Binding 17 nmol/l
Free Testosterone 46 pg/ml

Next week I am setting up an appointment for a consultation with my doctor to discuss recommendations. He already informed me that he advises treatment for low testosterone. The question now is if my insurance company will cover the cost. Apparently some insurance companies will not cover the treatment if the free testosterone is lower than 130mg/dl. I guess I will find out if my insurance will cover it. If not I will have to use GoodRX. Either which way I am solving my low testosterone.

It is what it is, right!

OK, I stumbled across this website while looking for things to do about my situation. The situation being that I no longer wake up with erections and when I get an erection it isn’t nearly as big and hard as it use to be. Low testosterone shrunk my penis!

Not only has low testosterone shrunk my penis, but also ruined my body. I’ll be heading back to the gym to fix what the low testosterone has done. I now have a small belly and lost my muscle definition with noticeable loss of strength. I have gyno (actual breast tissue) now :( and this sucks. I’m going to get as toned as possible within reason to determine if surgery is really needed. If so I can say goodbye to about 7,500 dollars. Getting older sure does suck, but along the way why not make my penis bigger.

Today I bought a tailor’s tape and a wooden 12 inch ruler. I also made a spreadsheet to track my progress including a chart. I am going to track my BPFSL, BPEL, MEG, AND BEG. I couldn’t wait and measured my BPFSL and was amazed to see that I am 7 inches long! I believe that my penis is larger than what I think it is. Tonight I will take the other measurements for my starting stats.

Yup, that’s low. About what mine was when they did the test last year.

It not, you can shop around when your policy ends, and change to some place that will cover it.

I didn’t think of shopping around for insurance if need be. Thanks.

FYI, clomiphene (possibly combined with anastrozole) is a relatively cheap and common off-label treatment for testosterone. Insurance may not cover it, but at least it is inexpensive as far as generic drugs go.

Beware that some people are prone to headaches as a side effect, though.

Hi,

A bit of inspiration here. I’ve been on TRT since around November of last year. Complete game change for me. Lost weight and my erections are like I’m 25 again. T injections and 5 mg Cialis Highly Recommended. Good luck !

My appointment is tomorrow, so if everything goes as expected I will start the treatment. I hope to have the same results.

Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it.

Hope it helps. A month’s supply of clomiphene costs between $20 and $30, whereas the anastrozole is another $5 to $10—and these prices are without insurance.

Clompiphene is the generic form of Clomid, a prescription fertility drug. It helps to stimulate the production of testosterone. You’ll come across this off-label use for clomiphene on not only on medical pages about treating infertility in men (it also stimulates sperm production), but also as an alternative to expensive t-replacement therapies. I’ve even seen body builders mention taking it.

Anastrozole is a breast cancer drug, but one of its chief effects is to prevent testosterone from being converted into estrogen. It’s used with clomiphene when too much testosterone is still turning into estrogen.

I’m glad that you mention multiple drugs. I initially thought that T replacement was just going to be a shot or patch once a week or something. It seems that common low T treatment involves multiple drugs. I’m looking forward to my appointment this afternoon to start getting things resolved.

I’ve learned this past week that low T therapy has a side effect of shrinking testicles. I know I will not be able to do full package pumping in an attempt to keep my testicles from shrinking more. However, I found the website LA Pump and saw a cock and ball pump with separate chambers. It appears that I can have one pressure for my testicles and another for my penis. I’ve pumped in the past trying to fix my erection quality and know that my penis will need a higher negative pressure than my testicles. My testicles are pumping virgins. It is called the Isolator Penis Enlargement Cylinder and costs a whopping 175 dollars.

I’m not ready for pumping yet and I’m not in a rush. I’ve seen positive results from my manual routine before my low T treatments. My erection quality has improved and the past two days I’ve woke up with a chubby. Today my chubby went completely limp and my flaccid was twice as long as usual and at least a 1/4 thicker. An added bonus is my testicles are starting to hang lower and I feel them swing with I walk. My testicles have been tight for the past couple of years. You KNOW I’m happy with results like this!

I’m disappointed and angry that penis pumping is the main therapy for erection quality. You can view my routine if you want to see what I’ve been doing. I’ve seen some serious improvements and I started 1 1/2 weeks ago! It maybe time for a paradigm shift in how erection difficulty is addressed.

All you need to pump your balls is a tube. Many guys use the same one they use for their shaft; others use one a bit larger for more comfort.

The cheapo $10-$15 “pump kits” on eBay don’t always list the dimensions, but they usually come with either 2-1/4” or 2-1/2” tubes, which is a good general size for ball pumping.

In my experience, water-base lubes don’t work well for ball pumping. They dry out and stick, while your scrotum slowly expands, which puts some painful tension on the skin. An oil-base lube, or even vaseline, will probably be more comfortable for you.

Oh, by the way… your balls probably change size a lot. Even during the same day. If you feel them every time you take a leak, you can get an idea of what their average size is.

I’m on Testosterone only, with the occasional cialis for fun. My doctor wouldn’t play ball with my 300ng/dl test level so I went the DIY route. I could’ve gone to a rejuvenation clinic but the price was outrageous. Hopefully your insurance covers you so you don’t have to deal with everything on your own like I do.

Thanks for the information. I appreciate it.

My copay for a months worth of fluid and needles cost me $3.95, so it appears that I’m good as far as that goes.

What’s your weekly dosage?
