Pumping at more than 15hg is good only to damage your urethra IMHO. I can’t hide that I’m pretty skeptic of gains reported by people who claim to use so huge depressures for short time, they should check their gauges and rulers. Sorry but I can’t lie.

Except that a vacuum cleaner isn’t designed for actual vacuum purposes, have you ever noticed how when you inadvertently suck a sock or the curtains into one the scream like a banshee. They are made to clear a lot of volume fast, not hold or regulate at a set Hg, Please be careful HorsemanX.

The high pressure is not held for a length of time. It is only held at that pressure for 3-5secs or so and then leaked down *(it would be impossible to hold it for much longer as it gets really really uncomfortable really really fast).

All being said i find doing the intermittent high pressure pumping gives really really good expansion.

I know that it is not held for a long time thanks, 3 seconds could be enough time to damage your urethra and cyclic stretching has shown to break down connective tissue faster than steady prolonged tension because the tissue itself has no time to adapt to the stress. That’s why cyclic stretching is less effective in causing permanent elongation and more effective in strenghtening tissue, as Capernicus has pointed out.

Just out of morbid curiosity what do you suggest to others as exercises that work? As in someone who wants to gain what do YOU suggest they they should do *(pumping, hanging,jelqing,stretching?)

I think low and prolonged stress is the way to go for true permanent gains; brief and high-intensity work is useful to create more tissue to stretch, but it should be done for a few weeks. The means you achieve the stress is somewhat secondary, but one thing for sure: no device in the world can compete with your hands. If you want to apply high forces for brief time, use your hands.

All that I know is that this has worked for me. I have had no bad side effects as opposed to what I have had with static pumping and the gains have been permanent. EQ is great. The pics speak for themselves.

How much of that expansion is inside the tunica? My guess is not a lot.

I dunno Thunder. But i don’t have any edema/fluid retention/spots. And my EQ has remained very high.

*(important note. I only do this once a week and the other 5 or 6 days I either hang **(4-8lbs now with heatlamp and DMSO) or do manual stretching. I also do the “firegoat roll” immediately afterwards **(thank you firegoat)).

Just trying to figure out what will work. I am 1” away from my final goal and i oh so bad want to get there.

Not sure what you mean by that. When I finish 150 reps my girth is about 6.25” at this pont. I brought up a point earlier on about the tube being always larger in length and diameter so you never touch the sides or end. It seems to cause even expansion in all directions imo. Contrary to packing the tube so to speak.

If you made your initial gains using that type of pump I doubt you were using very high pressures.

I have agree with you regarding some bulbs, it seems they aren’t all created equal. I had to buy a larger tube on ebay and it also came with a larger bulb. Didn’t pump worth a damn. It seems a smaller bulb with thicker walls builds more vacuum from my experience, so I still use the old bulb. Mind you I don’t have a gauge on the bulb so when I attach the real pump I am making an estimate of what the bulb does based on similarities then I read the guage. The last 50 reps are actually that high.

Initial gains were made with a very archaic device from the 70’s that resemble this:

Notice the pump built into the end of the device. No tapered bottom. Cuts through a doughnut pretty quick.

How does one measure this? What are the indications?
