Hi, I have recently joined the forum and I have two questions to ask of you.

Question 1 - I joined to try and give myself the girth I have always wanted. I am currently 7 inches long and 5 inches in girth and would eventually like to be about 5.5-5.75 inches in girth. I am fine with the length and going by other posts the exercises would make me longer as well as thicker, so which exercises would help me in my quest for a larger girth and not effect my length as much? Has anybody been able to get more girth out of these exercises than length?

Question 2 - I’m not sure if I actually have a short frenulum but all my foreskin bunches up behind the head and I can’t get it to retract much after that and to help make my frenulum longer I have been doing some stretching exercises to help that which involves stretching the foreskin over the head and pulling it away from my body for a certain amount of time each day. So I am wondering, will any of the jelq exercises or exercises to enlarge my erect girth/length effect the exercises I am doing to help with my other problem? Will these exercises allow my foreskin to grow also?

Hi Dmm1873,

Firstly welcome to Thunders :)

My suggestion would be to do the newbie routine for three months, you will initially gain some length from EQ but this is unavoidable while Jelqing try to maintain an 80% erection and you will focus on girth with that a little more than length. Once you have conditioned your unit you will find that you can carefully move onto girth specific exercise.

In the meantime while you are doing the newbie routine and getting to know your unit you can do some searching to find girth specific routines that you may wish to try out.

I’m sorry I can’t help you with the foreskin problem as I’m circumcised.

Thanks very much for the tips and help, I was reading somewhere else on the forum that it can be quite dangerous to do jelqing while almost having an erection so you have to be cautious :) I guess it’s okay to do the 80% that you are talking about, and what does this actually do to help increase your girth. I know holding the OK around the base keeps the blood in the penis and that having around 50% erection is best for increasing length but how does the 80% help the girth?

Just looking into what is actually happening while you are doing these exercises :)

Depending on the percentage of erection is it more or less likely to affect girth/length

And is it really dangerous to jelq with a 90% erection as if surely one can feel if that is overdoing it or not. Surely you would just use less pressure from your hands depending on hardness of erection.

OK a quick rundown before I go to bed, lesser erection and the jelq will act more like a stretch on the flaccid penis, however as a penis reaches more erect levels and is closer to its erect length, the pressure is then directed from the engorgement to a deforming pressure (as the jelq moves forward) not unlike what happens with a clamp (except the clamp is stationary, hence the girth gains near the clamp). the penis is near maximum girth and by constricting it you are actually stretching it in a girth direction.

It’s not for newbies and should be approached with caution, it should be worked up to very slowly, well after you have been PEing for enough time to condition your member, and have an understanding of the concepts of PE (reading the archives will help with that).

The only problem I am having is that knowing the risks that accompany the exercises is making me a tad scared to do it. I don’t want to do it unless I know exactly the right way to do it.

So does anybody have some tips or visuals to show the right ways to do the exercises?

I’m also not sure If I want to do them if it is more than likely that my length will grow further than my girth because being 7inches long and 5inches in girth makes my penis seem long and thin and wouldn’t the length grow with the girth proportionally and just make it longer as well as thicker, still making it look the same visually but just a bit bigger?

Just trying to get all my worries answered before I start :)

As to not gaining any length, well the penis is a dynamic structure, it is unlikely that you can gain only girth. You have a great starting size and many men consider 8x6 to be the magic formula so you may hit those numbers or you may get half an inch in length before you can leave the “Very important” conditioning phase of the Newbie Routine to concentrate on the more girth centered exercises.

No one can change your perception of your penis, however you can change it’s physical dimensions, my best advice is to start with the Newbie Routine and do it for three months while searching and reading all you can on girth exercises here at Thunders, you never know you could learn so much about girth that in six months time you are giving tips to guys just like you.
