Hey everyone, I just started to PE last week using the newbie routine. I was wondering when I should possibly measure again, because I don’t wanna measure too soon.

Oh also, is it okay to masturbate after I PE? I get really turned on sometimes after my exercise and feel the urge to masturbate.

Measure at the one month mark. It’s all up to you but the key is to record your gains while also giving feedback about your routine. If you measure in a month and have not gained anything, then maybe you should seek advice on your routine to make sure you’re understanding the newbie routine right. One month may be too soon to check too, so if you can hold out, wait six or eight weeks.

The masturbation question gets different answers. My opinion is that it’s OK, but I try not to since it makes overall EQ go down for me. If your young and get erections too easily when you jelq, then letting off some steam at the end of a session might be a good idea.

Oh, and take a good picture with a ruler for proof later - even if it’s just for yourself. And read, read, read everything you can here.

Ah thanks for the advice. I am young but honestly I don’t get erections that easily when I jelq, but I always at least have somewhat of an erection to work with.

Well, maybe I will post my routine now and you can see if everything seems fine. I mean it’s hardly any different than the newbie one though.

-5 minute warm up with a warm cloth.
-5 minute stretches (fairly hard but not hard enough to hurt)
-1 minute warm cloth again (because I feel like it’s just good to use a little extra warmth before the jelqs)
-10 minute jelq (with varying erection levels of underhand and overhand variations)
-5 minute warm down while doing 50 5 second kegels

I think onenekkidguy has a good idea. That’s been working for me, I measure once a month. That way I can check to see if my routine is working, and when gains stop, figure out what to change. It also gives me motivation. I did cheat and measure last night though, a couple weeks early. I could tell it was growing and couldn’t resist. Hehe

You’re routine looks good. I added in a cool wrap at the end, I feel like it helps.

The more often you measure your more accurate you can be when you do make a good gain and it won’t be down to EQ or different/poor measuring techniques. Some guys leave it months and months because they get demotivated when they don’t see any changes on the ruler.

You routine looks good to start of with but I would count the reps during jelqing so that you can increase steadily. 10 minutes is 200 if you do 3 sec jelqs. I tried to increase with 50 each week but that proved to much for me because I lost morning-wood so I’d advice in increasing with perhaps 10-20 reps every week.

Measure strategy vary from members to members it is all down to you. My advice is measure once in a month or every 6 weeks. Earlier than that may cause frustration and it will be easier to quit

Your routine looks fine. Stick with that for at least two months to get used to your indicators and condition your penis. In my opinion it is safer to add stretching time first as jelqing fatigues the penis more.

Audacia is right about getting used to measuring and being accurate though. You can’t stick the ruler on once and say “yup, that’s how big I am!” You should measure 2-3 times a day over a 2-3 day period. Try to be consistent as possible with where the ruler hits the pubic bone, penis angle, standing position, etc.

The same happened to me sometime back, I am fairly new to PE and was scared when the morning wood was not as hard and stopped PE’ing for a few days till it came back to normal or maybe even better then earlier.
