The NBP and BP distinction has always puzzled/irritated me from a measuring standpoint, and I have never heard anyone answer my question.

So, when measuring “NBP”, can someone tell me that they actually are able to repeat the same measurement, say if it were to be 5 measurements in 5 minutes? (e.g. do you barely touch the fat pad, do you “kind of” push the ruler in the fat pad or do you push 1/4” in?)

It’s almost like skinny people and/or people with the genetics that allow them not to have a large fat pad, are like, “ha, ha, my dick is bigger for girls because of my NBP measurement is bigger than yours,…..you fat asses.”

For NBPEL you just place the ruler so it touches your body, no pushing into the body at all. BPEL you press in as far as you can (without extreme pain), which should generally get you an extra 0.5 inches, unless you’re overweight.

This is what I’m talking about, Mick. There is this assumption that if a person has a deep fat pad, that they are overweight. (and I feel, that the the undertone here, is that a large fat pad = fat ass)

This is not always the case. When I was at an elite level in professional athletics, and my body fat was at say, 13 to 15%, I still had a fat pad that exceeded 1” in depth. (and please don’t start going into detail about what fat percentage should be acceptable) (btw, I am not intending to direct my frustration at you ;) )
