I’ve recently changed my tune on this debate…..
I started PE’ing on Dec 11th and noticed a positive change from the get-go but would continue to masturbate whenver I felt like it or had the time and to semi justify it I’d log it down as ‘edging’ and try to make it last as long as I could.
However what I seemed to overlook was the negative PI’s that I would experience after these ‘edging’ sessions.Infact by the end of some of them I would be quite sore and my little buddy would be crying out for mercy! Being a newbie I would ignore these or convince myself that I’d be ok by the morning and it would help progress,etc…etc… Now I know that NOT to be true.
There’s been a couple times where I was unable to get an erection from penis overtraining/exhaustion and when I’ve checked my log,the two occasions of non-erections have been after a bout of heavy masturbation. (what I called edging) It’s not the prolonged masturbation alone that was the issue,it was doing them along with my PE workouts and sometimes doing it as part of my PE workout which, for a newbie, is almost definitely a no-go. Now I’m not saying ‘masturbation is bad’ or ‘edging doesn’t work’ but for me at this stage of my development I benefit from not edging and cutting masturbation down to a minimum.
I know this 100% to be the case for me as in the past week since cutting masturbation down to 3 or 4 times a week my penis is stronger,healthier,bigger,fuller and ready to jump into action at any moment. Infact I measured myself yesterday at 7.625” BPEL and two weeks ago I was back down to about 7.3” bpel after a week or two of heavy masturbation (what I called edging) alongside my PE. So in a very short space of time I’ve not only gone back to my previous best I’ve surpassed it and just from leaving my dick alone and allowing it to grow and heal.
So,for me personally, masturbation and edging are to be kept to an absolute minimum while looking to gain from PE as my penis just can’t handle that amount of continued stress while being expected to grow from jelqs and stretches aswell as carry out it’s normal day to day functions. (including sexual intercourse) I’ve benefitted immensely since cutting it down and will continue to keep it at a minimum for a while and chart my progress/state of penis health/EQ/and energy levels.
Now I’m not anti anything and I’m not against ‘edging’ before you jump in and say I am,it’s just too much of a stressor for me to handle alongside my routine and once I cut it out and kept masturbation to a minimum my PI’s improved DRAMATICALLY!
Bottom line is your dick can only handle so much stress and if you don’t allow it to heal and recuperate between PE sessions and simply continue to batter the poor fella then you’re asking for trouble and not giving it the optimum treatment and conditions necessary for growth and good health.
