Hey peeps, im having a bit of trouble understanding how to do erect bends and the dangers.

I have used the search and other areas on the site, but I can’t work it out totally. I have a medium size cable clamp, so should I be using this to do them? Please give me some insight on this problem, Regards, Girthman.

Erect bends are super dangerous, and even more so with a cable clamp on.

Some people feel that partially erect bends can be safe if you warm up and ease into them.

I personally can’t see the point in erect bends. They just hurt and don’t seem to make any significant changes.

Well, how about giving me advice on uli’s? tried them, but they don’t make me ache, or nothing like that.

Please give me your own ways of doing uli’s. Thank you

Just pump as much blood as you can and close as many fingers as you can. Ok-sign at the base should be very, very tight.

girth, you are talking about uli’s not making you ache? You don’t have to hurt yourself for this to work you know. The technique is based on micro tears in the tissue, not macro tears and bruising.

It is a long process. Take it easy!

Guys, erect bends are fine but wait until you’ve got at least a year of PE under your belt before you try them. You really need to know your own body when you start playing around with them. Unless your limiting factor is truly the septum and you can trust yourself to stop at the slightest pain, then don’t even bother with them.

girthmanofxmas, if you’re wanting to do hands-free Ulis, do a search on extreme Uli* or Uli thing.

I am doing primarily erect bends in my work out. I can see where they are potentially dangerous and most likely noneffective unless you are using viagra with your PE.

Semi-erect bends just don’t seem to do anything. Without Viagra I lose my erection 20seconds into the bend, there by, not stretching the tunica enough to make any difference.

I consider my PE to be an experiment with erect bends and tunica stretching. Long warm up periods (I do at least 15min with a heating pad on high), 2 sets of light easy bending and then 4 sets of more serious bending. I keep the bends slow and steady and pay close attention to how they are feeling.

I did a little experiment with a balloon (the long thin balloons) where I blew it up a few times to get it nice and stretched out. Then I blew it up to it’s full potential. With a ballpoint pen I drew a grid on the side of the balloon. I then did an “erect bend” with the balloon to see the affect. The grid expanded considerably in both directions (length and girth). My theory is that erect bends, when done right, have major potential to stretch the tunica and give length and girth gains.

When fully erect, meaning not by size, but by hardness, my dick is rock hard. Bending against a rock hard erection is dangerous, and this is coming from one who was an original proponent on this forum of the possible merits of so-called “erect bending” when several guys dicussed its rediscovery on PE Forums. DLD subsequently rebranded the technique we were discussing, so this post pertains to the so-called “DLD bends” too.

I encourage everyone to read the thread linked above. Bending a full “erection” is dangerous. Bending an engorged dick is a different story, though still not for anyone who hasn’t yet worked into normal Ulis. If you don’t understand the difference between “erect bending” and “engorged bending,” please ask for clarification before you injure yourself.

I can’t do much bending while using Viagra. I tend to get too erect.

It’s strange, even when completely erect from viagra I still have good flexibility in my shaft. Maybe it’s just me.

Viagra makes my CC’s extremely hard, even with a partial erection. It isn’t a good state for jelqing, squeezing, bending, etc. I have good erections anyway without V, so maybe that’s part of it.

Good point though that we all react differently. The point I wanted to get across is that “erect bending” isn’t done fully erect. Seems there has been a problem with that terminology for a long time. An effort was once made to call it horse shoe bending instead.

Whatever one chooses to call it, don’t bend an erection. You might put more than an eye out. :)
