Getting serious about removing discoloration
I’m getting serious about removing discoloration as the title says, and I want to post some pics of the tools and products I will use to remove some bad discoloration, so others will know what direction to take if they want to follow a similar path. I plan on taking a baby step approach, because I plan on doing PE while I remove discoloration, but probably not as aggressively though; but that will also depend on how everything turns out.
The discoloration I seek to remove is on the lower base, where the scrotum meets the shaft, on the posterior side, slightly lateral to the center of lower base. It really isn’t that big of an area, but big enough to cry over. I already began the process on a small dime sized area with the wart remover containing 17% Salicylic Acid. It went smoother then I thought it would. I actually notice no difference really in the condition of the site I applied the wart remover on.
It has been 20 hours, and the skin has began to darken a little, and it appears sort of shiny and gritty, but definitely not scabby. It almost looks as if no change has occurred, but everything is happening very similar to Hobby’s experiment, which can be found on the Shedding the Snake: Peeling to Remove Discoloration, thread. I cleaned the area with hand sanitizer, let it dry, and applied a generous coat over the area, and let sit for 8 minutes and rinsed and removed, and once removed notice the white film of dead skin, which goes away in 20 minutes.
Personally, I spend about a few hours reading Hobby’s thread posted above, before I began the whole process. I recommend before anyone doing this, to read Hobby’s thread and proceed with caution. Personally, I noticed Hobby’s thread a long while ago, and it took about a year to summon the courage to get serious about using the wart remover. It went smoother than expected and I actually think it is seemingly safe, as of what has been observed so far.
Going back to my discoloration, the discoloration does descend to the upper part of my scrotum as well at the location described before, where the scrotum meets the lower base of the shaft. I don’t know if I will use the dermabrasion tool for complete removal as of yet but I am saving it if all else fails, but may use it for the final peeling process gently. I tested scraping off a very small amount skin with the dermabrasion tool and it seems to work like a charm, and it doesn’t seem to get too deep either with a sure and steady hand of course, but it is a very painful and traumatic experience. I don’t plan on doing a complete removal as of yet with the wart remover and the discoloration is only terrible in that particular spot. It is dark dark brown and it really fucks with my head if you know what I mean.
I’ve been using castor oil for a while now and I applied it over the area. Castor oil is a healing elixir. It reduces inflammation and promotes healing but it has many uses. It was actually an ingredient in Compound W’s brand of wart removal cream, with 17% Salicylic acid, which I read on the box of this product. So this makes me feel better about using the castor oil. The AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) is used as an exfoliator, I’m using this only because Hobby did but don’t know if it is necessary to buy.
