I’ve been doing PE for years but recently discovered something…heat is the single most important thing in any routine. I am unsure why this is…maybe increased blood flow causing engorgement in the tissues. I almost peaked at 7” BPEL a couple weeks ago, all due to heat being applied after my clamping sets.

Now that I figured something important for me, the question is…cementing these gains. I know I can reach my long term goal of 7.5 BPEL now. I just need to be more consistent.

I am looking into a few other options. Hanging, an ADS etc. Which method would be more beneficial? I’ve been in researching extenders in more detail than hanging. Just would like some opinions. :)

Girth: 5" but getting bigger. ;)

There’s lots of theories as to why heat is important:
- making the tissue more pliable and able to accommodate increased expansion (and therefore increased work)
- increases local vasodilation (similar premise to above, as well as increasing the blood inflow and thus fluid pressure)
- heat after a workout has been shown to improve recovery rates in general tissue, but so has ice baths after rigorous training (of the body)

Cementing usually occurs through a maintenance routine until no longer needed.

As you previously mentioned, heat works very well for you, so the change to routine should follow suit, I would personally try a few things to see what works best for you and then continue with that until it’s no longer working!

I didn’t know you could gain length from clamping. Anyone else experience this?

It’s been noted in a few people but never anything as much as the gains seen in length orientated exercises, clamping is a volume exercise - so in theory why couldn’t there be a little bit of length gain.

Yes it helps with length.

I think light weight hanging is a good way to go, but I’m not entirely sure since I’ve never done it without also pumping. I use a .5lbs. hanger sporadically for a few hours at a time. After a few hours, I can feel soreness in the shaft from the stretch.

Because my hanger is so light, I can just use a U-bolt and plate with some screws and stuff attached. I don’t need to wrap the penis, but I do use some micropore tape on the areas of the U-bolt that touch the skin to prevent chaffing and I remove the tape and scrub the hanger about once a week. Putting it on and taking it off is easy, to put it on I pull the glans through the hole, to take it off I pull the penis to reduce the shaft and glans size, twirl it around to separate it from the micropore tape, and pull the glans out.

When I first started using this hanger it slid off and down my pants a few times, I don’t think anyone noticed. But the micropore tape prevents that.

U-bolts come in many sizes and can be bought custom. The opening should be bigger than the flaccid glans and there seems to be a wide margin of error. It shouldn’t strangle the glans, it’s held in place by the weight orienting the bolt at an angle sort of like a belt buckle holds a belt.

Padlocks could work too, but it would be harder to customize the weight and find a big enough one if you have a large girth.

I gained some length from clamping up to a point. My gains from clamping plateaued though and seemed to stop gains from any other method I tried. I gave up PE for many years as a result.
