How much heat is needed to warm up

I use a heat gun and warm up continuously while hanging.

Some don’t use heat at all.

What do you guys think?

I only started using heat in the last two months also.

I don’t know why I didn’t before, other that using hot water in a cup seemed impractical.

You only need to warm up enough to raise your temperature internally a few degrees. It is better accomplished with a warm source of heat applied for at least ten minutes. The time will allow the heat to warm you rather than trying to use too much heat to heat quickly. The body can even its temperature out pretty fast so I feel that with constant tension exercises like hanging and even extending it is not only important to heat up first but also through out the exercises.

Statistically speaking there is not much of a difference in gains for those who do versus those who do not heat but for safety’s sake it is still wise to do so. Try a rice sock, awesome and cheap.

I haven’t seen any statistical evidence that it definitively helps gains, but I do kniw that heat increases/enhances bloodflow, which directly impacts the enlargement process. Plus it helps in preventing injury since the tissues are adequately warmed and loosened.

Whenever I use a heating pad for 10-15 minutes pre-session, my sessions are always better. Better, quicker expansion and the effects last much longer from session to session, which helps in cementing gains.

Only polls I have seen on other sites, the difference was pretty small for those that gained more with heat. I still heat with hanging to prevent injury. I heated before hanging last year and this year I am heating for all sets and I am tracking my own gains to see what happens.
The poll I am referring to was in the archives at PEgym.

I’ve started applying heat between every hanging set. Warming up causes the feeling of stretch/fatigue to occur much faster.

I use a heat gun that I run every few minutes during each set.

I never thought about the onset fatigue aspect though.

I have had a lot of success with a tube sock filled 50% with rice, then have another sock going the other way outside of that rice filled sock, 45 seconds in the microwave, its just like a heating pad, and holds its temp for 30 mins or so, if its too hot, depending on your microwave, work the rice around in your hands,

I use the same thing, a rice sock but mine has an ass ton of rice in it, takes a good 2 minutes to microwave that bad boy and I warm up before and during my sets. When I am BTC I rest it on my lap.

I tried to search it but I couldn’t find it, so I just ask here. I have an idea about an easy way to make a warm up that even stays while you are stretching, hanging or whatever: heating cream. Well. I don’t know how this is called in english but you sure know what I mean. For sports for example they sell creams to warm your muscles and keep them warm. Wouldn’t this be perfect for penis as well? Anyone tried?
