Has anyone noticed that after a PE session your BPEL is longer than before? It was driving me crazy that I was getting such inconsistent measurements. Then I realized that after a PE session my length is about .25 inches longer than before. I was wondering if anyone has noticed this.

Yes, this is very common! To get a truer indication of real gains it’s best to measure about two days after your last PE workout. That way everything has had a chance to settle down and you will get more consistent readings. Measuring once per month is usually the best idea. Set the same day every month to measure and take a couple of days rest before you drag out the ruler!

Hey Dong,

That is a good reason to wait at least 24 hours before taking an “official” measurement. That way you are less likely to measure the temporary gains and get confused or disappointed if they disappear.
