Is baseball bat inevitable?

Hey guys, ran a search and people say that if you start getting it, you should do hanging/pumping/clamping to get rid of it. I don’t want to do anything but manuel exercises. I just started, but I’m worried that by jelqing I will start to develop baseball bat. I was just wondering that if I make sure to jelq as low as possible, I can prevent it from happening. I am already slightly wider at midpoint than at base and I don’t want it to get any worse.

I do not believe that getting a baseball bat shape is inevitable as a result of jelqing. I believe that there are manual methods of dealing with it should you have it or start to develop it. You may want to try reverse jelqing.

Good for you for measuring base as well as midshaft. That is additional useful information for you to have.

I was born with a baseball bat. I am hoping pumping will help even things outa little bit, but if not, so what. Lots of people are shaped that way normally apparently.

But I doubt that you will have this issue because of jelqing.

Hey sta-kool, you’ve made pretty good gains for such a short time. I looked at your diary and you do something called ‘ballooning’ but otherwise I do everything else that you do. How much of your gains would you attribute to just jelqing and stretching?

I’d try other things, but to be honest, priority #1 is just not messing up my dick.

My guess would be with a very proactive program, one could MINIMIZE the baseball effect. Kind of like putting down newspaper before painting, so the clean up (correction) goes way smoother. Just a guess, but why the hell not?

hey, so what could I do to be proactive besides jelqing as low as possible and doing some reverse jelqs. Is that it?

Try a one-handed C grip on the base together with an overhand OK grip for the stroke. This will help you jelq from a lower starting point. See this for some pictures: Dry Jelq - Step by Step.

Can you explain? Not really sure what you mean. Do you mean do 1 handed c grip on the bottom? The video shows c grip with 2 hands.

Yes, I meant a one-handed C grip on the bottom. Those pictures demonstrate a two-handed C grip. Forget about the video—-you aren’t going to move the C grip forward like they show. You just want to hold the base with the grip and do the jelq with the other hand using an overhand OK grip. This should allow you to begin the jelq from very near the base if you maneuver the overhand into the space freed up from using the C grip.

So the c grip bottom hand is just to push in and make more room; doesn’t move at all? I think I got it, thanks.

Probably most of the length gains. Girth gains started when I started pumping (but on the other hand I started doing 70 to 80% erection level jelqs at the same time, which are supposed to be good for girth. I think being consitent about WARMUP is important too.

Note that I kinda do minimal PE — not a ton of jelqs etc. And frequent off days.

Ballooning is “controversial” around here — some say it is PE, others say it is masturbation. I probably fall somewhere in between. I think it helps cement gains from your other routines — having a very strong erection for 30 minutes or so seems like it might help out that way.

I need to start stretching again, I let it slide lately.
