I read on this site to not jelq over the main vein on your penis, but how is that possible or is it true at all?

My vein cover 1/3 of my penis.

Also I like to do over hand ok jelq 80% of the time and only under hand 20%. Is that a bad idea? My penis is shaped upwards a bit. I am trying to even it out.

The recommended grip is the “OK” grip which completely encircles the penis. Using that grip makes it impossible not to jelq over the dorsal vein. Veins are very pliable and able to take the stress of jelqing without problems. What you’re doing shouldn’t be a problem.

Care should be taken to avoid damaging the dorsal nerve which runs along the top of the penis in the middle. There is a particularly sensitive nerve bundle in the top middle of the penis just below the glans and this should be avoided, either by terminating the stroke an inch before the glans or avoiding the area with a grip biased to sideways pressure. An overhand OK, locating the webbing between thumb and forefinger centrally is likely to be least likely to cause nerve damage and can fairly safely allow the stroke to be continued all the way to the glans.

The quote you provided in post 4 is different from what you said in the first post. In the first post you talk about not jelqing over the vein, in the quote it talks about nerves and nerve ending. If it was wrong to jelq over the veins, my self and many other members would have to give up jelqing all together.

The article said the main vain. Not the smaller veins.

Where did you find the article? Post a link to it here so we know what you’re talking about. First you said “main vein” then you posted something about nerves. Your question has already been answered. Jelqing in the manner described in the manual (link above) or videos on this site is not dangerous to veins or nerves.

What, exactly, is your concern?
