Loss Of EQ/Libido After Ejaculation?

I know there is typically a decrease in erection quality and size the day after ejaculation, but how long does that typically last? It usually lasts me about a few days and I am back to normal, but now it’s been 12 days and my libido and EQ is in the toilet. Before I would have raging hard ons every morning but now I havent had morning wood in a while. This all took place after ejaculation recently. Nothing about my training changed and I am 25, so test shouldnt be low. I figured it was the tongkat ali blocking too much dht, so I stopped taking it but it’s gotten worse.

Has anyone else experienced this?

My EQ was practically dead the last 2 weeks or so.
I meditated on it yesterday and I became aware that it was caused by 3 things. One of them was that I talked with my new GF about one of her exes who’s supposed to be véry big.
It made me feel less, and made me give my penis a bad feeling (yes, they can get sad).

I understood some things.. whispered some things into my penis’ ear and today he was revived.

That is odd at 25. Your libido and EQ especially should jump back in a day. I’m not a doctor, but it sounds like you are taking supplements, probably have a look there as you are already thinking.

I also agree with Egotesticle, it could be stress related.

Depends, by the next day my EQ is generally alright, but it usually takes a couple days for it to be raging again. Sometimes there will be periods where it’s randomly low for a while (diet, stress, weather, who knows).

Maybe in your case you developed a tolerance to the supplement you were using, I would stay away from it.

Haha…funny. If he was very big, then she is probably relieved that she doesn’t have to be worried about the pain. I once dated a woman who said that she hated holding her breath because she was worried that he would “jab” her in the gut.

You’re good. You’re assuming that she enjoyed it. She probably had her days where she wanted to feel the pressure and was ready, but there were likely more days when she wanted to breathe, but mentally could not let go of her fear. You already know that if she’s checkout mentally, she definitely isn’t there physically. Women fake it with big ones too, to get it over with.

Just imagine for a moment her choice of words…battlefield. It doesn’t sound like to me that she got up feeling sexy, as an orgasm should do for a woman.

It’s when a woman says that she’s had bigger, but then doesn’t want to talk about it, that’s when it’s highly probable that she liked it and maybe even misses it. She can’t talk about it because it is an emotional overload for her. She’s trying not to say the wrong thing and hurt you, she’s trying not to appear like a (insert adjective), and she’s trying to contain the excitement inside. This takes a lot of work.

You could reprogram her. Each time that you have sex and she has an orgasm, whisper affirmatives in her ear. Something like, “yeah, I got you, this is all you need”, or “yeah, I know, that’s the best you’ve ever had”. The confidence is intoxicating to a woman. Eventually, she will internalize it. And one day repeat it. Then you’ll know that you’ve overwritten Mr. Biggums.

But she’s only open to sexual reprogramming after orgasm. If she just got pounded and got nothing out of it, no deal. Sounds gimmicky, I know. But it works. I’m no psych, so I can’t explain it, I’ve just used it.

I was taking tongkat ali and everything was good until I ejaculated. Then I never recovered. I’m taking the week off of it but EQ seems worse because there is no chance for a morning wood. I was taking it for over 30 days in a row without cycling and didn’t have any negative results. This is really strange.

Luckily my size didn’t decrease, but my penile health is in the toilet. Hopefully I can still gain while having low EQ.

I’m now considering using porn during my pumping now even though I stopped the dopamine rush from porn and edging a few months ago. I can always get off porn whenever. I’m just afraid of the adverse reactions to my brain.

I’m starting to think I have to take everything that blocks dht out of my supplements. The only thing i take that blocks that now is fish oil.

Not sure about the tongkat. But why are you using porn with pumping? You don’t need to sustain an erection. Porn and edging can be useful during jelqs and clamping sessions.

I never said I was, I said I planned to. I got the best results maintaining an erection in the tube. Expansion is greater, but there is more risk of fluid build up over longer periods.

I tend to get an erection then force blood in with a reverse kegel and pump a little more to keep the expansion. I never watch porn.

Heat has helped me a lot during pumping for greater expansion. I’ve actually reached new lengths in the tube. I gotcha on porn and you’re right about the dopamine rush.

During these times, here are my guesses as to what you should look into:

1. More Vitamin D (I take 50,000 IU if I feel like I haven’t been out much or that I’m indoors a lot. Double check if this is the amount you are comfortable depending on the research you look at)
2. If you are taking Tongkat Ali 200:1 or 100:1 or 50:1, you need to take it as a 60/40 or 70/30 approach. Meaning, for me, I take it 4 days on, 3 days off or 2 weeks on or 1 week off and then I stop taking it for months and then come back on it.
3. Switch from tongkat ali, take a break and then use Black Maca instead of using Tongkat Ali.
4. Sleep naked
5. Drink a glass of water before going to bed to test out your morning wood.
6. There is a difference from edging to the point of no return vs a dry ejaculation. For me, I know the difference and on those days that I have those semi ejaculation, I feel tired and my EQ drops.
7. Lack of calories for me plays a big part in my EQ so make sure you are eating enough

Well hope any of this helps if not then I hope another member has a different angle for you.

No way. Everything is fine a full day after ejaculation. Refractory time is much shorter than that.

Even a few hours.

It does annoy me many threads in this website promote lack of orgasms as a means of PE. Anyone that researches the human body will find out that the key to performance improvement is using its functions to the fullest. Repeatedly. Consistently.

Don’t ever condition yourself to “protect” yourself from repeated orgasms, Please.

I think for your age you should be in a “optimal” shape.
Go do a blood work and check your hormone levels.
I dont think its the supplements that are causing the problem. Hows your diet looking? Maybe a lack of cholesterol is preventing your body from producing sex hormones? Try not to store your food in any plastic containers as it increases estrogen.
Too much stress? Too much of caffeine intake? Adrenal burnout? Hows your sleep?
Maybe the PE routine is causing it? I know you said it didnt changed but look closely, maybe youre slightly “overtraining”.

For me the “loss” after finishing usually lasts between 15-30mins and im in my mid 30s. Size stays about 70% or so but im a shower.
