In my opinion :”The more the better” is realistic for PE.
Bib gained a lot when using a 7-days-a-week-8-hours-a-day routine.

This means NO rest days.

So what would you say (especially the big gainers)?

I think its very unrealistic at least for the biggest part of us to say that half an hour of hanging a day would be enough to gain much.

So would you say that intensifying my routine by going up to 7 days a week and longer and more intense sessions will help me gaining?

I dont know what should speak against it….
The bodybuilding analogy or other analogys arent necessary here because PE is in my opinion a completely different issue….

The more and the longer stress is applied the better the gains will be.

I think the more time dedicated to PE is definitely better; however, I also think it should be pointed out for the sake of the eager beginner, that you must work yourself up to the point that you can have a routine like Bib’s. Everyone’s body is different, and I suppose there may be a few bodies out there that can start out on an intense routine that is long-lasting, seven days a week, but I think this would be a rare case.

More = better, but so is not going too far beyond your body’s elastic limit.

I agree with you that everyone’s body is different and you have to work up to that. I’ve been PE’ing for almost two months, so I consider myself just getting started, but I don’t think I could PE for 7 days a week without any rest days. As much as I’d like to b/c of the gains I’ve made so far, but I know that my dick couldn’t take it. It needs rest and time to grow and rebuild tissue.

I think the intensity of each session is probably key. But then intensity really depends on the person doesn’t it?

I’m pretty certain Bib didn’t hang on weekends.

I had the majority of my gains doing no more than 30 minutes of pe broken up into 5 minute sessions following a 5 day on 2 off program…

I think if you are properly fatiging the targeted tissues, as much time as it takes to do so is all that’s needed.

When you’re going to do longer sessions you don’t need to intensify them. That would be too much for your dick to handle at once. If you wanna do your routine every day you have to adjust the length and intensity so you don’t need restdays.

I recently got an answer by Bib where I questioned restdays. What he told me is that you just have to listen and find out what works for you. Bib himself used to hang all day in the weekdays and sat/sun off due to privacy issues, however he did sometimes manage to sneak in one or two sets in the evening sat/sun. Personally, I feel that I need two days off through a week as much for resting my psyche as for healing the dick itself, perhaps I will take a light set + ADS on the rest days if I feel like it though.

Okay I am going to try to paraphrase something that Bib told me in a previous post to make it more relevant, so viewer discretion is advised.

What he told me in relation to hanging longer for more gains was that essentially your unit will get used to the load it is taking now and need more weight to get tired at a time. It will also take more time to get fatigued as time goes on so more sets.

So in relation to general PE, I would say that as you work your unit more, if you feel it is not fatigued then keep adding more intensity/time until you feel that it is getting a good work out. To me, I do not do a set time that you have to work, in terms of days on/off. Sometimes you need to vary what you are doing to get the best workout. So don’t think of the regiment as a neccessary factual schedule, but as guidelines to what most people find works for them.

I’ve been doing PE for 4 months now and was able to jelq, do horse440’s and ulis for 35 minutes without any sign of fatigue. The next day I didn’t really feel like doing PE though so I figure I passed the point and didn’t notice or something.

I took a 10-day break (whoops, it was only supposed to be 7, haha) a couple weeks ago. Started to go on a 5 on, 2 off routine which is much shorter and seemingly easier. I only made it through the first four days, couldn’t do my fifth, and only spent 25 minutes total doing stretches, jelqs and horse440’s. I am a firm believer in not raising your routine prematurely as it only seems to inhibit easy gains. My belief is in the just enough theory and if gains seem to slow down, change up the routine. If they still don’t pick back up then take a short break or long break. We went all this time before PE dealing with our size, what’s the difference if you hold off for a month to hopefully get better use of your workouts.

It’s just my opinion, nothing more, nothing less.
