Need Clamping Advice

I can’t get bone pressed with the clamp. Fat pad in the front and turkey neck on bottom.

Any solutions?

I’ve been clamping as close as I can to the body and then, once everything’s clamped up and in place, I put a second clamp behind that first clamp (i.e. between that first clamp and the body).

Once you’ve got the first clamp on, it’s easier to get the second one on, because everything is more or less being held in place by the first one.

I use my left hand to hold my turkey neck where it needs to be and use my right hand to apply the clamp.

That’s the method I’ve been using and it’s worked for me.
