So, you’ve started PEing, you feel pretty good about it. Your dick is nice and plump after your sessions and this feels good. You get to the end of the month and draw out the ruler. Not a sausage (or rather no more sausage). You haven’t gained. Never mind you think, “I can’t gain every month”.

Ever heard that phrase “what doesn’t kill me makes me stronger”. PE is a bit like that only not. With a slight modification the phrase works for PE “what doesn’t make me grow makes my dick stronger (and harder to grow next month)”.

If you aren’t gaining you have to look at what is going on, get your head out of the sand and look at what you are doing. If you dick is a bit plumper after PE but it isn’t at least heading towards sore, you’re masturbating! The game here is PE and PE is about creating controlled trauma.

If you spend one month on a routine and you don’t grow, you need to look at that routine and either improve the way you are doing it or change it completely.

All the old timers here are probably reading this and thinking “yeah but it gets harder as you go on, you grow less, you need more force, blah, blah, blah”. Read up on posts from hangers who’ve gained and watch the for the “(cough) (cough) 10 minutes jelging” with the ones who are gaining. Again, we are talking about creating trauma and the very best way you can avoid trauma is by getting your dick conditioned to carrying large weights in exactly the same way for exactly the same amount of time each day.

I hereby declare March “Dumping dodgy routines month”. Take your routine and throw it in the bin if it isn’t working. Take a couple of days off, and come back with all the panache of someone committed to growing and for Jebus sake if your new routine ain’t working after a month trash it and start again.

Go out there and kick some dick or something. OK well that doesn’t work as a phrase but you get the point.

I think thats the key to successful PE: You need to have ‘controlled trauma’. While you shouldn’t be reckless with the exercises, you do have to push them. We tend to focus on not being careless in the threads but don’t push ‘the push’ in PE.

It’s been like 6 months since I’ve stopped gaining and I think that is because I was afraid to add more to my routine or to change it. Now my dick is stronger and harder to stretch.

Memento, do you think I should come with a stronger routine, or should I take a deconditioning break first?

However you switch your workouts around, keep the two most important fundamentals: heat and jelqing!

Super post memento, My first routines where slow to show gains but time and effort did pay off.

I’m talking about years to see large gains. Well worth the time.

No doubt about it heat is incredibly important. I wonder about the jelqing sometimes though. I’d like to hear from people what has led them to believe that jelqing is so important. Not that he knows everything about PE or anything (even remotely), but the Toronto chem PE doctor has his patient’s do stretching and stretching alone, having specifically stated that he doesn’t think much of jelqing, that it toughens tunica.

This is a great thread I also read the Peter Dick thread which supports this claim, With the exception of a year long decon break with only the occasional stretch. I would change my routine every six weeks. Alternating different exersies in the tutorials even switch hand position from ok grip over to “V” grip, which, use to be in the tutorials I think it is in the sizemore routine. I even switch back to the newby routine sometimes. Even when their is an erection decrease due to some un thinkable force I quickly shoot right back up there.

I don’t measure with aruler every week, but what I do do is this I wrap both hands around my penis when erect. I judge it by how much the head sticks up from the top hand, My hand base from the knucle line is 3 1/2 inches to hands together equals 7’ my penis head usually sticks up about an inch from that. Rule of thumb don’t allow your hands to concave, If the head peaks over then I know I’m taking something that is causing the shrinkage, or I need to change the routine.
