Plateau and growth theory

Plateau and growth theory

Well, I am 8 months into PE and have been stuck for the last several months. Thank God I had quick gains in the beginning. If I had not I would have probably written this stuff off as BS.

Anyway, I am thinking that PE occurs in 2 distinctly different ways. The first way is the tissues being brought to their full potential. Now, depending on ones dick this can be from nearly nothing to over 1 inch in both length and girth. In my case it has been 3/4” NBPEL and 3/8” EG. The length came in the first 2 months mostly from manual stretching with no more since and the girth came several months later when I started squeeze type jelking.

Now, the second way of growth is actual tissue stretching and cell growth. Most body tissues will increase in size, such as the skin in someone gaining weight or bone density under stress.

So, initial gains of up to and slightly over 1 inch are easiest with further gains requiring much more focus and ingenuity. Bottom line: this PE stuff is NO myth.

plateau

aaagggg please Im already bummed by my measly inch progress in six months dont discourage me more I want to believe Ill keep growing

try this

This is something interesting I found out about working out and I know its not a muscle but the same rules most likely apply and if you are going slow its most certainly worth a try.

- simlpy change up the routine completely. like if you dont jelq then do so and change up the types of squeezes you do becasue you might say , well how many ways are there to squeeze your dick, but doing it a different way hits it a little different just like a muscle. You may have heard of something called muscle memory and pretty much all of the tissues in your body have it. Its basically when a tissue in your boddy gets used to something it adjusts to it so you need to change it up every so often to sort of shock it with something different and then once that stops working go back to what you were doing. Or from the begining just do a different routine every other time, like have 2 and do them intermitently (spelling). Well hope this helps. I am new so i havent had a chance to test my theory but i think it is a sound theory so give it a shot.

shock

you have something there Im going to come up with a plan for next month thanks a lot joe

Good theory

JS - you have something there that would be worthwhile in experimenting with.

I do know that the body seeks to adapt to stresses placed upon it so that they are no longer interpreted as ‘stresses’. In other words, it grows muscle so that a stress such as weightlifting is easier accomplished by the body. The body is always trying to find an equilibrium for stress and it’s response to it.

I am currently hanging. Perhaps once I hit a well-established plateau I will move into a manual stretch phase for a bit, or maybe just a short squeeze routine exclusively. Something to give my body time to ‘shift’ it’s focus of adaptation.

If either of you experiment with these theories, please post back. That’s redundant - I know you will.

r.e. plateau

Hey Buster,

How ya doin? This plateau business is indeed interesting. I have a theory that closely matches the other members. After a great gain of 1.2 in. EL and 1 in. EG (all from jelqing and stretching) in 4 months, I hit a plateau. I talked to Bigger and he said that he hung almost exclusively. However, since he hung about 8 hours a day, 5-6 days a week, he overcame his body’s tendency to adapt. He just pushed on with more weight. Most of us don’t have that kind of time to devote to PE. I am doing 2-3 hours per day and that is an enormous amount of time for me. I also stretch during every shower and have been trying to ADS as much as I can (my freakin enlarger strap finally came in the mail!)

Now to my theory - I was stuck at 6.7 EL and decided to up my wieght and hang time for a few weeks. I did and then went on a 9 day vacation. When I got back, I hit it really hard again for a week and then measured. I was pretty happy to see that I had gained .25 EL (6.95 EL). I think that the accelerated routine pushed me past the plateau. I also agree that a change in routine (i.e. hanging to jelqing) works because I tried it once and got a .12 in. gain fairly quickly. However, I stopped the jelqing because my girth also increased .12 in. and I got worried that my girth would impede my length gains. So, in summary, I think that a change in routine or an accelleration of routine may help guys bust through the plateaus.

Happy hangin

Breaking through

Buster & Jelqtoid – how’s is going? Congrats on the Mod promotion Buster!

Recently, I had been stuck at a plateau for 3 months. Up to that point I had made good steady gains for about 5 months. I guess my dick was doing a fine job of overcoming the stresses I had put upon it, and was beginning to win the battle. So, I did a little research on the forum, asked some questions.

I took 2 weeks off of PE completely. Started up with my own version of a shock routine and hit the PE program with renewed intensity. Two weeks into it I broke through the plateau with a 1/8+” ELBP gain.

To sum it up, change your routine? You bet! Don’t give your dick a chance to catch on to what your doing. Plus, change keeps things interesting, and keeps you from burning out.

Goodwood :chuckle:

Thanks, goodwood.

Well, in both of your posts I am reading that you guys took a significant break in the action. That is something they stress in weighttraining to let the body relax it’s adaptation mode. I am wondering if THIS isn’t part of the key? My thinking would be to rest for awhile, then come back with a different routine or something, or maybe a shock routine.

to newbies

It would be a good idea from teh start after breaking in to change up the routine say every week and have 3 different routines or even just 2 , enough so long as your body doesnt have time to adapt to anything.

Hey joe seven!

I think “shock” routines are ideal for breaking plateaus - that’s where they’re most useful. But if your routine is working, why change? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

"Pertinaciously pursuing a penis of preposterously prodigious proportions." What a mouthful!

not what I meant

I mean if you are just starting to see if you ever plateau. By no means should you change if something is working for you.

What are you kidding 1 inch in 6 months that’s great, your on track for 2 inches in a year that’s fast growth. Don’t believe all the hype about 4 inch gains in 6 months. Your doing great!
