Question on the importance of being fully erect vs just engorged while clamping

Now a days, I don’t believe in clamping for longer than 10 minutes. I have gone as long as 25 minutes (if my memory serves right), and I have done as many as 3 sets of 10 minutes. I now opt for shorter sessions with more manual stress added to my already erect and clamped penis. I feel that clamping at 90% erection with added manual stress is the best way to go. If you are new to clamping, I’d advise not trying to add pressure to a already excessively expansed penis (via a clamp or two). I’m still tinkering with poly-clamping — I’m trying to target my penis head; simply because I’d love any gains I make to be gained on my penis head. I agree with much of the posts before me as well.

The time allowed to rest in between sets should rely more on how well your dick is responding than a set number of minutes. With each set it will take longer, more massaging and jelqing to recover.

For me, pulling slow dry jelqs seems to get good circulation going again better than anything. If you get to the point you can’t restore sensitivity by massaging or jelqing and you can’t get a full erection without the clamp, you should probably end the session.

Theoretically it seems to me you should try to end the session one set before that happens. At least that is what I try to do with pumping. Does that make sense?

Well here’s a status report. I’ve been clamping the way Bib and Big Girtha have suggested since Monday.

Not getting fully erect at all but I’m staying engorged with a semi during my sets. So far my expansion is not as thick as it normally is when clamping fully erect but the engorgement is still bigger then my normal unclamped erect girth.

My midgirth is expanding to 6.25 inches after the 3rd set but doesn’t go any higher then that even after the 6th set.

Full erect clamping for me yields greater expansion in a shorter amount of time reaching a 6.5 inch midgirth by set number 3. It looks like full erect clamping is far superior for me but I’m going to continue to do bib and Girtha’s non erect but engorged clamping method for at least 2 weeks to see if anything changes.

When you say it is not as thick as normal when clamping, do you mean you see less CC girth CS girth or both?

Also, do you further tighten the uli thing to increase the blood pressure? I dont think you can effectively achieve the same with a cable clamp.

Hey Pillars what I’m saying is this.

When I clamp with a full erection my midgirth goes from 5.8 inches to 6.5 inches after 3 fifteen minute sets.

Now with clamping the way Bib and Girtha do it by not being fully erect but just engorged, I only reach 6.25 inches in girth after 3 fifteen minute sets and by set number 6 it’s still only stays at 6.25 inches.

Since I’m not erect I can tighten the uli thing device down even tighter but it’s still not making a difference. Still only expanding to 6.25 inches.

So far I like full erect clamping better but I am going stick with Bib and Girtha’s method for 2 weeks to see if anything changes.

Hey sta-kool. Right now I’m clamping with a 60 to 75% erection. Basically I get erect enough to become engorged but make sure I don’t get erect to the point to where my dick starts to stiffen and stand up. So basically my dick is still hanging straight down and dangling all floppy between my legs while clamping.

What have the results been so far?

I have been clamping fully erect so far and have seen some gains already (just restarted clamping a week ago).
I was thinking of why not doing both erect and semi erect clamping? I am planning to do 3-5 sets of semi erect and 3 sets fully erect a couple of weeks down the road. Thinking of doing the erect clamping early afternoon and the semi erect in the late afternoon. For a couple more weeks for now I am staying with 3 fully erect clamping sets a day.

Big Girtha, quick question. What about rest days, do you take any in your clamping routine?
