Do you think that 6 weeks is widely agreed upon as a good minimum span for decon? I want to keep this simple by setting some cut-off number. I’ll use 6 if you think it’s best.
I don’t know whether 6 is the right number, but I’ve read studies that show that connective tissue loses a large percentage of its initial strength after 6 weeks of immobility. So, it’s not a bad place to start.

Better to get the data and analyze it in six months or a year than not to get the data, as long as the survey doesn’t get so long that people bail out in the middle.

A good goal is to shoot for no longer than an hour. After an 30 minutes, many people will become highly agitated. After an hour, many people will throw their computer out the window, quit PE, and never return to Thunder’s Place again… .
The point of remeks analogy? More than an hour, means no more statistical flour.

I am confused. In the first survey I used “total gain” as my form of analysis. How could newbie gains be the cause of pill gains? Both groups — the pill group and the non-pill group presumably had “newbies” and “experienced PE’ers”.
Also, the experienced PEers would surely have more total gain than the newbies.

The above is a survey redesign that addresses MM’s, Remek’s, and others’ concerns about the time course of gains and the changes in PE regimens.
A few things (e.g., plateaus, breaks, injuries) have been left for the end of the survey, detached from the “time course” info, simply because this survey is going to become impossibly long and complex if we make participants repeat every part multiple times.

The latest revision is under revision again, it looks like, so don’t bother with a detailed critique of the above post, anyone who might be reading. I’m in communication with the programmer trying to figure out a better way to go from general to specific in this survey, to glean useful data from lazy survey-takers, while still using the time-course regimen-segregated format.

I have a few minor maybe’s left - for one the minor issue with wording the question of heat during exercises (comment B6 in my initial response). What I mean is that you have phrased it “9. When stretching was part of your first PE regimen, how often did you apply heat during the stretching session (e.g., with a heat lamp)?” but applying heat during exercises can be done with using a hot wrap or similar during 15-30 second breaks as well, intermittently during the workout. It doesn’t have to be a heat lamp - unless you want to know if a heat lamp and constant heat during exercises are the way to go.
Next question is about penile dysfunction - I’d be interested in knowing how bad the problems got, and I believe those taking the survey will have an easier time if they have something to relate to “a little numbness after exercising / numbness throughout the day but no problems with sexual function / no morning wood, total numbness, no erections at all”
Oh, and a final wording - ADS with knee strap goes below your knee, at least mine does. :)
