Shedding the Snake: Peeling to Remove Discoloration

This thread is scary. Skin peels are very dangerous to do yourself, granted some peeling agents are more aggressive than others.

I noticed some improvement of discoloration in places from a severe allergic / irritation reaction across my whole penis. I have vitiligo, which can be triggered by inflammation, so that might be why some parts became lighter in my case. My natural skin color is light so the vitiligo patches are barely distinguishable, unless there is hair which turns platinum white in that area.

I also noticed some improvement to the whole discolored area after switching from oil lube to diluted glycerol with all sorts of stuff dissolved in it. I do not know what precisely is the active agent there. Glycerol is irritating to some people’s skin and must be diluted with water.

After I reach my goal, assuming I don’t decide not to stop short of it or aim for even larger, I’ll probably look into this subject more. The discoloration doesn’t bother me much and has improved over the years. Better to not get it in the first place.

However, he doesnt use q switch, instead its a co2 fractional, if I remember correctly (when I spoke to him). He says that incase of q switch, more sessions will be required. He charges 1500 pounds per session and requires a 1 month gap in between. I’m interested to know if anyone has undergone such procedures and what results they got, especially for brown and yellow skinned men.
As a last resort you could always go to malaysia premier clinic, where they have been doing this for years and specialize in this using q switch.😉

What is the name of the doctor? Did you ever get the procedure done?

Alright so I’ve probably done something no one else here had. I had a series of pico laser treatments on my cock.

And guess what… didn’t fuckin work! That’s not totally true… I had slight success. On the majority of my cock I’d say I can barely tell the difference. On some darker spots I’d say maybe 50% improvement.

Yes I know that’s a lot, but the dark spots are a very small portion of my cock compared to the whole surface.

So perhaps pico laser is not the way to go. Someone mentioned co2 fractional, which I have read only may work better. I’ll look into that as well.

I would be so happy to get my entire cock back to its original colour.

I’ve contacted a bunch of laser clinics as so far have been recommended Lytera 2.0 lightening serum as the “gold standard” of lightening creams. Not sure whether I’ll get it yet or not.

Can lemon juice reduce discoloration? Due to a lot of masturbation whilst dry, I have foreskin so natural lube the very end of my foreskin became dry and cracked early on, and now forms a dark ring almost. There are a few other dark spots mostly stretch marks from death grip masturbation over many years. I’m hoping to try and fix this but I’m not sure what will work? I’ve decided to try lemon juice, it doesn’t need to be perfect just needs to be lighter in area’s. The next thing I’d like to ask is if peeling could potentially heal/reduce the cracks/scars around the ridged band. Its really ugly to me, and to be 100% fair I’ve been masturbating the same way for so long I’ve technically never stopped long enough to give it time to like, “heal” and just go back to normal however, its been like this since I was like 14 or 15 so, half my life basically. In theory if it starts feeling just in that specific area if I’m really careful could that reduce it? I suppose if someone wants to take a look at exactly what I’m speaking about I could take a pic and pm it to you just to get an opinion, just the foreskin area that’s affected. It really is hurting my confidence in bed and its made me embarrassed about how attractive my penis is, it looks ugly to me, so yeah, if someone here could give me some solutions/advice it would be great.

If you can take a few days off from masturbating, the protocols described at the beginning of this thread are extremely effective for most. I had severe discoloration from PE that didn’t get better from leaving it alone for many months. I had a huge improvement just from painting my penis with wart remover. If I recall, I did 2-3 treatments over a few weeks and my color was completely back to normal. The types that don’t congeal (callous remover) are much better though because you don’t have to buy a new bottle if you want to do it again a few months later.

You just paint it and leave it alone. Wash it off after a bit, and after a couple of days all of the outer skin comes right off. You should see improvement. Treat again a week later if needed.

I wonder if anyone has experienced improvement of discoloration from using ultrasound on their penis.

I haven’t really looked into the nature of the discoloration. Is it increased melanin production in the cells or is it some sort of particulate staining? If it’s particulate staining like a tattoo (which I guess seems unlikely) maybe ultrasound might help. If it’s increased melanin production due to phenotypical changes to the dermis cells, it would probably be easy to look into changing the phenotype back using substances. Though not all phenotypical changes are reversible.

There are plenty of substances used to lighten skin on the market.

The discoloration I had was due to bruising of the skin becoming like a tattoo. I have no reason to think it’s melanin related in any way. The chemical peel only took off a few layers of skin and got rid of the discoloration of my skin.

However, fairly soon after, next day maybe, I remember shedding skin pretty much like a snake. Maybe quarter to half inch scales. Needless to say it scared the shit out of me though everything cleared up nicely. I don’t remember what brand it was, didn’t check for ingredients, and have no idea if it’s repeatable now or even helpful, but I thought I’d share.

Yep happened to me but I just used regular soap

Likely happened because we didn’t rinse the soap off with water

But do NOT use soap on your glans it will ruin it

My glans look less healthy than they did before soap and I would rather not get into the details

But keep in mind in my experience with the soap the snakeskin shedding effect lasted a week-long and was quite painful as well

Regardless of the effect, I would seriously encourage people to just avoid it and take time off and heal it seems like a much more simple solution

Hello, did have success with wart remover on a hyperpigmented area on my shaft.

It looks much lighter almost matching my original skin color.

Only one problem. I overdid it on one place resulting in a 1 x 1 cm white vitiligo spot.

So my question is if anyone know how to reverse this and make it permanent darker without going to a tattoo artist?

Did try pinching it with a tweezer trying to get a smaller bruise but that is not working permanent.

Thank you :)

Important Peel Information

Regarding chem peels, tretinion & hydroquinone..

Key Factor to not only mitigate peel risk, ie further discoloration post chemical peel but also to get the most out of an at-home peel:

-Incredibly helpful prior to TCA peel is to begin using retin-A/ (Tretitinion ) for a few weeks on shaft as well as mild hydroquinone cream. This is recommended by all peel users who are prone to hyperpigmentation. This prepares the skin to take peel much better.
-My TCA peels have been painful, seriously painful but they work! I highly recommend buying some tattoo numbing cream to help with pain users
-More peel tips: A mistake I see some making is not evenly applying a full peel resulting in even more uneven discoloration. But you want to focus on one area? That can be done. Another key to success is instead of one layer of heavy strength TCA peel say 35%-50%, You can get the same strength of peel but much much more consistent by applying 2-3 lighter strength levels.

This is the protocol I recommend for those wanting the most effective at-home chemical peel on the higher end of strength with the most diminished risk to further hyperpigmentation as well as increased benefits.

* Ideally prior to peel use tretinoin & hydroquinone nightly (as a high percentage you can bear without excessive irritation) for a month. At least 2 weeks.
(note if you are sensitive to hydroquinone, still only doing the pre tretinoin is helpful. Also you can apply tretinoin fully and hydroquinone to spot treatments)

* One week prior to peel stop all creams- tretinoin etc as well any hyper dermabrasion, as well as shaving a couple days before for healthiest prepared skin

* Directly before the peel, apply rubbing alcohol or acetone to remove skin oils and prepare skin for a much better, & even absorption of the peel. Another key!

* Even those hesitant can do a 10% TCA Peel. Buy some 20% or 35% TCA peel and dilute with water to get a 10% concentration level. Apply a thick full coat of peel with a cotton round. TCA peels do not need to be neutralized and self neutralize in approximately 8 minutes. You may notice some white frosting. This is a good sign that the peels working but also not completely necessary (Don’t be upset if you don’t peel or frost you’ll be more prepared for next higher strength peel)

* Post-peel ideally use emu oil as a moisturizer, coconut oil also works, both antibacterial. Than lather a thick layer of petroleum jelly. Your goal post peel is be as gently as possible with skin, keeping it moisturized and covered with vaseline. The slower it peels the more even & better the results will be.

* 2 weeks after the peel resume use of Retin-A. This is what gets rid of leftover discoloration.

Note: A 10% peel is a minor test one, you may not even experiencing much peeling which is fine but means you for a higher level.

Repeat these steps 1 month after 1st peel. Depending on your sensitivities the goal is multiply layers of a 20% percent TCA peel. (multiply layers are done by waiting till the initial frosting of first layer is complete than starting another ~5 minutes. This is how you increase strength and focus on particular areas while maintaining safety and even peel.

This same safety procedure used on the face for best results for diminishing wrinkles safely.

If you don’t have a script to Retin-A luckily it can be obtained through an online prescription easily at the same site that gives out viagra script (Ro google it)

You’re Welcome! Forgive the typos, I just want to get the helpful info out there without a major time investment but I’m extremely serious about the validity of the information here.

Is 30% Salycic acid too strong? Need to know as its what I picked up. If it is, I’ll take it back.

Please help :)
It’s possibly not a vitiligo spot maybe just a white scar.
Anyway is it possible to get hemosiderin staining on purpose?
Thank you.

I did the same stupid thing. Some pigment had come back after a long time but not a lot.

One treatment that I think would almost definitely work is micro needling. If you want more info then PM me. I’ve also read about ginger helping. Cut a small slice and rub it on the spot.

Both would be long term treatments… like several months at least.

So I’m not alone :)
How long time did it take for the pigment to come back?
I want a quick fix, not applying ginger for months and perhaps nothing..
Thinking about treating the white spot with wart remover again and hoping it will turn darker once it heals..
Thank you.
