Shedding the Snake: Peeling to Remove Discoloration

I really am curious about the outcome of this q switch laser thing. If there’s one thing I want to remove, its this discoloration. Makes it look like I got someone else’s penis….totally different from my body colour haha.

I’ve done 50% TCA on a small area. I wouldn’t recommend this for most people. I actually now have a small area of hyPOpigmentation from this which fucking sucks and I’m trying to treat with dermarolling.

I’m trying different acids because even though a certain acid may be weaker, it may have a different mechanism of action which works better for the type of discoloration we have.

Anyway I actually tried up to 70% glycolic acid and it barely freaking did anything. I don’t know if I just bought it from a shit supplier or if my skin is just that tough. I’ll wait a week to see if it results in anything.

Next after that would be salicylic acid. After that hopefully a test patch of q-switched laser. After that I don’t know…

Question for someone… how is it that salicylic acid is a mild to medium depth peel if it is absorbed all the way through the skin into the blood?

I think eventually all substances are absorbed the same way, the difference lies in what layer/extent it is effective till. TCA is more effective than other peels as its more of a medium peel, Phenol is the most potent as it is a deep peel and many say that you dont need to get more than 1 phenol peel in years, its that strong.

In regards to your hypo pigmentation dont worry it will fade away in even out in some weeks or month.

I have an update for you. Got in touch with a docgor who practices in the UK as well as dubai, and he specializes in genital lightening for men as well as women. Look him up if you are ready to travel there to get the procedure done. He says its a 3 session procedure and lightening is permanent unless there is some hormonal change in body. However, he doesnt use q switch, instead its a co2 fractional, if i remember correctly (when i spoke to him). He says that incase of q switch, more sessions will be required. He charges 1500 pounds per session and requires a 1 month gap in between. Im interested to know if anyone has undergone such procedures and what results they got, especially for brown and yellow skinned men.
As a last resort you could always go to malaysia premier clinic, where they have been doing this for years and specialize in this using q switch.😉

I actually got some retin-A cream which can supposedly do wonders to repair skin (I lied to a Dr. and said it was for acne and got a prescription easily). However I read on another forum, someone used it on their cock and got permanent redness from it. So I’m a little worried to try it out now.

This was my last resort. Not sure what else to do. I can’t waste more money on laser trials. If there were a cock Dr. in my area who specialized in penis lightening I would try it… but there’s not.

IMO creams and other topic treatment is useless if the darkening is in deeper layers of skin, which it usually is if the topic treatments dont work. Therefore more stronger and permanent methods are required like lasers which target dark parts like melanin and hemosderin. Consecutive sessions maybe required. The docs say the treatment is permanent unless theres a change in your body hormones etc which directly affect the pigmentation and melanin production thereby causing darkening.

I’ve done acid peels which have worked, so I’m not 100% convinced you need something deeper. Retin-a is very powerful and I think has some potential.

If I knew 100% that lasers would work maybe I would spend the money on it. But I’ve already had a session with a Pico laser and it didn’t do much. I know it’s only one session but I didn’t see enough of an improvement (if any) to warrant trying it again. And I don’t have the money to fly overseas to try it.

If it weren’t for the possibly harm of retin-a I would try it immediately.

I have found this acid peel that I used in my face in which it started to peel around day 2 and so on and stopped at day 7 since I got the results that I wanted. Looking at the back for formulation, I saw it said “Each 100g contains 25mg Trerinoin and 2g Hydroquinone” (it also says 0.025% | 2% solution).

Has anyone tried the same or similar peels with their wangs? I tried one last night it I felt burns, not much changes for today and I’ve never done acid peels (or any sort of peels) on my dick and I’m afraid it might get worse (though I’m hopeful since it was very effective on my face, except for the ‘harsh’ peeling but the results are very good). Has anyone tried Tretinoin and Hydroquinone peels? How did it go? Should I keep doing this?

And for additional information, I am South East Asian man so having a darker shade of wang is normal for us (though I was tan as heck, the only dark part of my body are my underwear area)

I have applied the solution on my wang every night before sleeping, no moisturizers and all. And I was losing hope and scared that I was making things worse than they are (aka making my dick darker than it actually is) , however, while I was taking a shower, I was looking at my wang and noticed a premature peeling sections (I got pics btw), I was in surprised but it gave me hope that it might actually working and it seems promising!

I did put the solution for 2 nights straight but I didn’t do the routine in the 3rd night (as I said I was afraid to make things worse and I though what I was doing is dumb as hell), however I did put the solution this night as what I saw in the shower looks promising. (I put it in the circumsicion scar + shaft at first night, then just the shaft at 2nd night, and now I put it in circ and shaft, + at the balls tonight because why not, haha.)

The burning feeling does not last long, like around 5 seconds if you keep blowing into it since my solution seems like alcohol, once it dries up the burning sensation subsides.
The application for tonight has a stronger burning sensation, I assume because it peeled at some areas already (small areas) since it started at the ‘flaps’ (imagine a hotdog slit, haha.), While my at my balls, it doesn’t burn much, just gave me a lukewarm feeling, I assume because it still has a thick layer of skin.

I am not planning to do this for a week straight (7 days), I might just do around 3-4 days since my face started to have temporary hyperpigmented areas when I applied the solution onto my face including the areas that have already peeled since the box said to put it evenly at the whole face, it was now okay though, my face is now also a few shades lighter)

Ii will be trying to update since It seemed like I can already pick on the peeling skin on my wang (the older posts said not to but I think my case is different) since they can easily be scraped off like a dirt / dead cells though I am trying my best to resist since the skin underneath may not be ready and cause complications with evening out the tone of the skin since I will be putting the solution to a raw freshly peeled areas which might promote uneven skin tone. Wish me luck. :-)

Edit: I forgot to mention that I have not put it in the head of dick since it is a very sensitive area, and it has a different kind of skin compared to the shaft and circ scar area and I had highly unnoticeable penile papules because they are very small (the zit-like things on the rim of your head), I read somewhere in this thread that he put a solution on his dick and it made new papules appear and it made the older ones bigger, so I will not be taking a risk with that since papules don’t need to be treated but will affect how my penis looks overall, and I don’t have the money to get them to the dermatologist or any therapist at all.

If anyone is wondering, the brand I’ve using is Maxi-Peel, it is very affordable and it comes in different strengths (depends on the severity of your acne), I am currently using the number #2 variant of the product (for moderate acne). I didn’t say the brand because I did not think it was known enough, but seeing that it has been mentioned here in the past few pages of the forum I might as well say it.

I’d agree with ste4301. The discoloration is bruising.

I have used your basic hydrocortisone cream. It’s soothing to the skin stopping any itch or other feeling of skin irritation.

Best of all after using twice a day for a week I do notice a difference in the color of my soldier.

May not work for everyone but it is my go to.

Hi, has anyone tried any of the Pico Lasers for the discolouring (vs the Q switch)? I have bad dicolouration and as much as I’ve read many threads on Thunder about hemosiderin, it scares the heck out of me to think that chemically peeling/burning my special guy is a solution. I’m also curious about how sensitive my penis will be after laser treatment. Another words, I don’t want to kill any more nerves.
