Temporarily quitting PE.

Hi guys, how have you all been doing? I really miss this great forum. I have received some of the greatest advice - I’d like to think that I can’t get elsewhere - on this site. It’s been exactly two months now since I last visited here. To many old timers it’s just a small portion of time off but to me it’s a long time off. I love this place and pe was a integral although short part of my life. For those of you who know me (atleast through this site) I left without a warning. This is mainly because - once again for those of you who know me - I already couldn’t afford internet and my isp severed my connection because I couldn’t pay the bills. By then I stopped working part-time even though I enjoy buying nice clothes and being able to spend sinfully once in awhile. I decided then that I really wanted to focus on my studies and school and unfortunately, unlike some kids I couldn’t balance both school and work together(I get exhausted). For those of you who know me would know that given the situation I am in, the only way of sealing myself a secured future is by excelling in academics. Plus the kind of intelligence that is marketable in my country is the ability to study and perform well in examinations. If you have read one of my threads you would know about that I didn’t like going to school because of some reasons. And right now I can safely say that, that has changed because I will be going to school regularly and make it past this year and finish secondary schooling completely. In fact I am aiming to go to the best college in my city. I have really high aspirations and I dream every day and night about it. I constantly visualise it, and I have thrown all indulgences away from my life like tv, music and hanging out with friends. I am becoming very nerdy and a loner but I don’t care. So yep, thats what has happened since I was away.. And basically I just want to stop pe-ing for some time atleast untill I get to college. I will perhaps do a little now and then but nothing more. At this point you would have already wondered how I am typing this thread if I have no internet! Here’s the deal I am using a neighbour’s bluetooth to gain access to the net which I think is illegal and I don’t dare taking my chances ever again. I’ll miss this place and am thankful greatly to Thunder and also the Mods for creating and running this place so smoothly. So here’s to many more dreams to fulfill and me getting to the college of my dreams.. :Gulp: untill then sayonara.

You can still stay on Thunders though! Go to your local library! Or if you go to a University, they have computers up the ass! There are many free resources around, you just have to utilize them. Good luck though man!

I really have never seen a forum on the Internet with such kind and caring people as I have seen here and I mean that. Message boards on the web are nothing but little kids talking shit. There are so many great people on here it’s really an amazing place.
